+Chubbyninja Brone-to-the-E (chubbyninja89) People who complain like this are pathetic. The content and effort that go into these videos is fantastic. Keep it up Ed and ignore the children!
Really appreciate putting the advertising part of the video at the end, and with a warning too, actually makes people more willing to hear what you have to say instead of shoving it down their throats. P.S. Great video as always keep up the goo work ^^
So I have always had a question regarding Crusading chapters. Who pays for their resupply and upkeep? Imperial guard and Imperial navy are paid for by tithes to the Adminstratum. Chapters like the Ultramarines rule their own domains which supply them with goods they can sell to the other factions or tax. But besides the Blood Ravens, how does a fleet based chapter maintain and acquire munitions, supplies, fuel, etc.
STORM WARDENS PLEASE! I don't know why but I got really into them after I stumbled upon their wikia page and want to see if you can dig up anything I couldn't find my self. Thanks Ed, love your guys' videos! keep up the great work
I didn't even know about the celestial lions. The Imperial Fists and their successors were allways my favourite chapters, will maybe convert one for my "Hall of Honor"
Thanks for all that you do in bringing the 40k universe to the masses! But I have to say, the Exorcist Chapter...... we hearing about that or what brah?!?!
Celestial Lions would have to be my favourite chapter, decided the only way to get their honour back was to march straight into a canyon that had millions of orks that wasn't expecting them to walk on in with less then 100 marines and what was left of a guard force from a hive city that was heavily besieged.
@The Vaults of Terra I would love to see some of the Eldar Craftworlds in videos in much the same format as the Space Marine Chapter videos. Ulthwe and Biel-tan are very prominent in the lore after all. Then there are the Phoenix Lords, the Aspect Shrines and there culture, weapons, and ideology. Not to mention the history of having been the catalyst for the creation of the god Slaanesh. Just a lot of material to cover and many videos worth of content.
any chance on covering the ancient legions? would've been cool to get some lore on them and a comprehensive informational solidity on what legion turned renegade and vica versa.. also the primarchs too should've been covered.. just suggesting here
Have you thought about playing (or actually played) any of Fantasy Flight Games' 40k RPGs?Personally I am having a great time playing as Imperial Guard in Only War, so far I have lost all my limbs (basically my humanity) to my squad's Tech-priest Enginseer/Medic (yep (and her (yes, her) assistant is a Psyker)), and, I lost my comrade to a grenade jam...
I got killed a lot, that is a guardsman's lot. The games are a progression, so only war (and the New DH) are the most refined, although some prefer the older systems.
***** So far my squad have only suffered two casualties (one self inflicted (almost, the jam)) (the other were me and I have gotten fixed with bionics (we're fighting for a Adeptus Mecanicus complex)), and we have killed around 70-90 orks, plus achieved many of our tactical objectives, and it looks like we are going to survive (we are part of a elite platoon though (we carry chainswords as our melee weapons).
Honestly. If GW decided to make a live action movie, it should be about the Celestial Lions and the incident on Armageddon. I can imagine the final minutes of the movie, Grimaldus picks up the wounded CL Sargent and as they look up at the sky, they just see the Black Templars descend and reign fire on the orcs. I would stand up at the cinema and clap.
I'll try to make the live game Ed. Always a pleasure to get an upload from the vault, must take you some time to put it all together. Let's all hope we get that Horus heresy video, before the Emporer returns complaining of a very itchy arse.
so from what I gathered the lions made an inquisitor mad and he had them sniped while they were fighting the orks. I bet most of the sniping deaths were the apothecaries as well.
Wow i though you would never do the celestial lion thanks. Just to say you didn't mention they call the squad leaders or Sargent pride leaders and there other names. Also all there officers were killed as well only one pride leader survived :).
Please. I beg you. DO A VIDEO OF THE STORM WARDENS! They're my favorite! They're basically space highlanders! They are too cool to ignore and must have some type of recognition since they do have a good bit of information and a lot of them go into the deathwatch which is awesome. So please. Storm wardens.
+The Vaults of Terra would you please consider Exorcists and Novamarines chapters in the next round up?along with Firehawks and angles of absolution if u got the time?
I think I know what game you should play every sunday :). Cards against humanity :). Oh and btw I am just wondering are there any loyal space marine chapters that are still around and have openly revolted/rebel in the past against the inquisition? Oh and do you watch the series "If the emperor had a text-to-speech device" here on youtube? If not then go watch it :D! You are going to love it! The series is done by bruva alfabusa :).
+Knight of Caliban ACTUALLY! Some Luna Wolves (Garveil Loken for example) remained loyal to the emperor and most were killed during a virus bombing on one of the isstvan planets, those that survived either retired from battle, stayed as combatants or some (Garveil Loken again) became close friends with malcador and founder 'Malcador's Knight-Errant' nowadays known as the Grey Knights
Cool video. Didn't know either of these chapters beforehand. The Celestial lions sound quite interesting. Do you know if they are featured in any 40k novels?
