Glad you enjoyed the video. As you noted, you couldn’t select reverse with a normal after market gear knob. However, I once saw one with a lift up for reverse feature. Perhaps it’s worth checking whether such a thing is still available - and compatible with the Corsa. Good luck.

I made this video too long ago to remember. However, if you search 'Vauxhall Corsa D gearstick gaiter' via eBay you’ll find the part. If it was my car, I’d prefer a genuine part from a scrap car rather than aftermarket. Good luck.
