I just did a video myself on this a few weeks back and had exactly the same problem with severe corrosion on 2 spark plugs and one of the the coil pack springs had come away. Seems to be very common on this engine and the problem I had was a misfire when the engine got warm after 15 minutes of driving. How my car was still running like this was a miracle .
Have same issue on our Opel Corsa.. they made this just so they could get some money from everyone replacing it.. enyone know if there is something better out there, or do i just have to order thesame thing and replace it in the next 3years again?

Great video, I am now confident to do the same on my Meriva ...BUT!! How do I sort out the engine fault light you mentioned about 20 minutes into the video? I have an old code reader, but do not really know what to do with it, never mind how to correct an engine fault light! Do you have a video for that? Thank again, great video.
Thanks for your comment. On my code reader if there is a code it gives me the option to delete it, so it was easy for me, some people have said that once you reconnect the battery and start the car the code will disappear but this didn`t work for me
Hi, Nice video. there are multiple types of spark plugs from the same brand with different prices on the same shop website. Are they any different in regards to performance as some are a bit expensive? Thanks
