Hello, I know what you mean, I used a very small drill bit with small counter sunk Phillip screws & then cut a small round carpet piece to cover the screw head. You will always find that drilling the plyboard with a drill bit will pull the carpet. This is why I used a very small bit. clean off the drill every time you use it. I did snap a few, maybe a good idea to buy a few drill bits 🙂

Hello, Yes I ran a 2 x1 batten inline with the ceiling . You can then use it to fix your tongue & groove to. Good Luck and thanks for watching. 👍
