TheCheesecak3 I remember once the larunda relay was going to be destroyed and people that were mastery rank 15 or higher including me were just saying like we should let this shit blow up so newbies get angry but as we all know we had a little mercy
i mean its not like the tenno couldve done anything at that point given that the Fomorian's shields wouldve still been up, and odds are very few of them wouldve had the means to down the shields plus i dont think any of them care, they blew up the relay, that was the entire goal
That could've been cool and realistic. These who have been owning only one warframe would had to replay a prologue mission, but a whole game progress would not be lost after the mission. It would be a harsh but realistic exchange for seeing this scene.
*Vay Hek* : "Hello....INSECTS!!!" *Baro* : "Why hello." *Vay Hek* : "The Tenno must learn how truly insignificant they are!" *Baro* : "Oh my, now here is someone with great taste!" *Vay Hek* : "Fomorian Commander, fire at will!" *Baro* : "They say 'Money can't buy class', but I think you just proved them wrong." *Relay explodes* *Baro* :"What a pleasant surprise! Perhaps there's hope for you after all!" And then they became besties. The end. :3
@@yashobantadash6462 the only reason why they blew up because the community wanted to see what would happen if they let it blow up thinking that they wouldn't actually do it
As one of the lunatics insane enough to stick with the mode upon launch, my Railjack could probably take a Famorian laser directly, and I’ll just sit there, and shrug it off as I recline and eat my lunch.
Imagine being a Grineer scout watching the station in the final minutes before the attack. The Fomorian is lining up a shot, and Tenno orbiters are arriving in their dozens or hundreds and launching their landers. And they're all...boarding the station? The one your boss has openly declared he is going to destroy? No, that can't be right. You check the camera bugs you planted inside. Yes, there they are. Warframes shoulder to shoulder, staring up at the giant glowing countdown hologram or repeatedly leaping through it. You check the open com frequencies. They're laughing. Then the Fomorian fires, the station explodes, everything inside reduced to ash and carried away on the solar winds. And they're still laughing. You see a thing like that, I bet you never sleep again.
then the alarms ring on your ship. intruder alert? no, it cant be. they all died. Marine Platoons rush through the hallways of the galleon before the alarms suddenly stop then everything is gone in several kuva bramma blasts
A lot of lives were lost that day. Sometimes when I close my eyes I can still hear it, the sounds of explosions, the creek of metal hitting metal, the scream of the Npcs that lost their lives. Years of therapy couldn't erase those memories, and so my anger towards the Grineer grow. If my anger cause me to fall to the void then remember these words, "Strata Relay, December 2014"
To some people like myself, relays were a place where you met other players and just talked. Didn't do missions, just sat there and talked. I've met a few friends at the Strata relay, friends that don't play anymore but friends none the less. So seeing that relay get destroyed really affected me more emotionally than anything. If I can sum up the feeling, it's like seeing an old home you used to live in getting torn down, or maybe a school that you fondly remember playing with your friends. I mean sure now region chat is a lot more for that sort of thing but back in the day Dojos and the Chat weren't really something that people did since a lot of use were still new and just exploring the game
It's crazy to think I was in that relay when it got destroyed, I can't believe it was that long ago already. We tried so hard to defend some of the relays, but towards the end some of the percentages would not go down no matter how much we spammed it. There were so many rumors that some of the relays were rigged so that they would be guaranteed to explode, because the percentages would not decrease the closer we got to destruction. Our clan finally decided to give up in the last 5 minutes and we just loaded into the relay to watch what would happen. I know I was in here, but I don't remember what frame I was or where I was in the relay at the time...
Man I would *love* to get a Relay event where you can have tens of Railjacks all hammering destruction on Vay Hek. Swarms of Archwings and a fleet of Railjacks, that would be epic for this game.
I find it funny that Vay Hel is giving this victory speech meanwhile the Tenno there let it happen because "We just want to see what happens." Imagine Vay Hek finds this out
We’re literally magical teenagers with Goku powers and shitposting attitudes. I think that even the worst warlords would balk in fear realizing that we allow things to happen to us out of curiosity, if they knew just one of us could easily wipe out platoons and garrisons of their best soldiers. Could you imagine any world power, real or fictional, on the 10 year anniversary of destroying some support-powered rebel’s space base, celebrating. They give their victory speech then, amidst the celebrating crowd, they spot a handful of spicy adolescents glowing before sudden genocide? Dude, if I was in Hey Hek’s shoes, and a handful of nightmare teens I though I beat called me and said “we were curious”, I’d check myself into whatever the equivalent of an elderly home the Grineer have and spend the rest of my days quietly crying and playing failed checkers against a goldfish.
Dude 3yrs ago isn't that long, I mean not as long as you think it's cuz we had U18 already and I don't include any update above 15 as a classic Warframe.
@@datboarboss8569 I think the joke went over your head buddy. It's mocking how players of fortnut always think anything the game does is something special and new. I don't think any warframe player believes this little event was anything unique
@@slaayerr1 Fortnite players believe Master Chief originated from the Halo event for Fortnite and that Halo stole from Fortnite so I really don't expect a lot of brains from Fortnite players
I was gone for Warframe for so long I didn't even realise there was an event where the relays got destroyed. At least Strata got rebuilt (RIP Vesper) when I finally logged back on.
Currently playing on XBOX, and the comments section has been amazing. "Press F to pay respects to Vesper Relay", followed by a wall of "F" responses. "I want Vesper to blow up so I can play Taps when it goes" "#LetVesperDie" "Balor Famorian: (Omae wo mo... shindeiru.) Vesper Relay: (NANI?!)" The list goes on. I've been screen-shooting them, so maybe I'll update this comment later with more Lols.
I wasnt around for the destruction of the relay. But i did my part to help rebuild when they let us so I'm glad this popped up on my recommended as I hadnt seen this end of it
Hahaha! DE got 'em good this moment XD They think DE's just f*cking around, nope! Lesson learned. If the Tenno will let this event succeed soon there will be no relay to go at, and the destruction of the game itself XD. Nice job letting the chicken dude do what he wants
A lot of us were spamming the Fomorians and running them for hours just before detonation, and the percentages wouldn't budge, so there was almost certainly a rigged system to ensure *some* relays would be lost. We saved some, but everyone piling into those last few Fomorians to no effect was pretty telling. So most of us just gave up in the last minutes and stood in the relays to see them blow up.
i remember being on the latam server and logging in and seeing that the strata repeater had about 2 minutes left and the hek ship was over 25% health and i just got in and waited for everything to go to shit.
I left this game back when the Xbone came out but remember venturing to Strata Relay. I came back just now and was wondering why I couldn’t go to Strata Relay and here I am finding out why. F
