Join us for our Erev Shabbat service We will be going through the weekly teachings from Monte Judah. This portion begins the Book of Leviticus. God calls to Moses from the Tent of Meeting to give him instructions for the priests in presenting sacrifices on the altar in the tabernacle (for the future Temple). Specifically, this portion defines the laws of the burnt offering, the grain offering, the peace offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering. While these are not the sum total of all offerings, this portion gives the key elements of God’s sacrificial system.
