I make it slice without putting in water keep the slices on the paper to dry after ten minutes boil the oil , make it fry when it become fried strain the oil I ll add perngayum powder, chilly powder and salt... And mix this one is for good for samvar rise... I ll try this too I am a fan of Deena cooking
I tried it.. it came out excellent... washing in water is new to me.. tried it and turned out really very crisp...before it would get soggy... thank yu for the method.

Tried this. It came crisp. However within 5 mins it became soft. Next time repeated recipe and transferred to air tight container in 2 mins. It again became soft. After 5-6 hours it became soft n rubbery. Can chef answer the reasons for same.
