Flowers in the Attic is a book in the Dollanganger series. I loved this
book. It's an amazing psychological thriller, and really deserves its popularity.
It's easy to see why this was a hit when first published.

I remembered at first when Mom and her kids when they went to their Grandma’s house especially they were locked in the attic bedroom. I remembered at first when she’s buys them lots of various stuff, toys 🧸, games, books 📚 and other various stuff. I remembered when their Mom’s buys Cathy her first bra . I remembered sometimes Cory and Carrie’s sometimes bored.

There are five books. The first two are told through Cathy's eyes. The third is told by the children of Cathy. The fourth is by Cathy again and the fifth is a prequel told by the Grandmother. I really enjoyed the first two. Did NOT like the third. The fourth was ...OK, however the fifth book was almost as good as the first and it really explained so much about everything!

Thank you for the summary of the series. I really need to get a move on and read the rest of this series. I'm not sure what's taking me so long - possibly I'm just too easily distracted. But I definitely will read them.

Please tell me that the need to read all books written by her will end with her death. The ghostwriter did well in like 3 of her stories as he had contact with her before her death. But after that, they really aren’t worth it. He lost her style. I read one more recent book. I DNF the sequel. I rarely make an active choice to DNF.
