There's even more techs? This already feels crazy! I mean def linear approach options but that can be said about a lot of high tiers and even s tiers (ex. Lucina doesn't have great approach options. She has more but none as good as the range on MK's dash attack)
@@ZDY66666 Yeah, MK has the condor dive, forbidden reset, IDJs that place him right underneath platforms to continue ladders that would normally stop upon him landing on it, a pseudo-sephiroth omni slash ledge stall with MK's dimensional cape, and pseudo condor dives towards the ledge to gimp while edgeguarding
@@GoharioFTW Greetings fellow Meta knight main but do you consider IDJing right underneath platforms to continue ladders a better option that full hop then landing a frame perfect Uair? I mean I've seen Rocco do 2 Uairs before landing on the Small Battlefield platform but I can't do it consistently. I've heard that it has to be frame perfect so I wonder if such option is not that practical in the first place
@user-by9ks6nc9t IDJ under platform is super useful yeah. I personally hate raw IDJing cuz its awkward to me when it's not buffered, but buffered IDJs are a piece of cake. So if you land that dash attack and input jump twice it will automatically be an IDJ and now you can extend combos and ladders you couldn't with full hop cuz you'd land on the platform. In general tho, I prefer the forbidden reset. I use it a lot more than IDJing. And it can also keep you right below the platform. The timing is tight at first but muscle memory makes it veryyyy easy later on.
I dont understand why the smash community thinks Lucina is good she is definitely a bottom 10 character Her Risk-Reward is trash. Waaaay too much work for not enough reward especially for a character with a mediocre linear recovery and very little jank
great range to attack speed ratio, slightly above average movement, very strong pokes (retreat NAir, Dtilt, landing FAir), strong edgeguarding (her BAir is about as strong as Marth' tipper BAir), very strong out of shield and frame 1 combo breaker, her upB recovery is actually quite good because of frame 1 invulnerability and weird knock back angle, most characters have to snipe her double jump with she rarely needs to use. While she probably isn't considered top tier anymore due to new dlc powercreep (in her case : Pyra and Mythra, Min-Min) and the endgame ultimate meta favoring heavily characters able to consistently convert big on a few neutral wins (which she isn't particularly good at) she's still a very strong character able to invalidate or go even with quite a lot of the roster
