You forgot to mention the credit situation. during the video your credits went from 153 to 3. The G meter explanation took 30 off you, 10 for on, 10 for back off, then 10 for back on again. Then the G meter doesn't work on the S5 as it doesn't have the necessary hardware. Did you try the VIM? the info on the activation screen says that this doesn't work for MY 2018 with new software versions. This took 100 credits. if it works on yours then you have old software, if it doesn't, then you wasted 100 credits.
Okay, really really awesome video, wize! As usual, I love how detailed you are and the fact that you always answer every single question I have in my mind and always do everything in great detail. I'm curious what the lane assist step 1 and step 2 does, but aside from that, you covered everything I could've thought about. Even when you went outside to show that the tail lights would be on, you instinctively went to show that the DRLs were on first, which is exactly what I was thinking in my head "I hope he shows the DRLs" lol. My family immigrated to Canada after years of hard work and both my parents, like most immigrants (not refugees) have university degrees, and it saddens me to see that the refugees, a lot of whom are troublemakers and uneducated are giving us (especially Arabic immigrants) a bad name! We came to the West to flee violence and terrorist and all the extremist religious people, and sadly some of them have followed us here it seems. Sorry it's so off topic, but seeing some of the criminal stuff some refugees are doing in Europe makes me sad since I love Europe, especially the EU and your beautiful country Switzerland. You don't have to apologize, there are good and bad people everywhere, some countries (even in Europe) knows better how to hide their bad behaviors and some other gets more media coverage because it sells. What's the situation with the credits for each function? As you adjusted each feature I saw a number at the bottom of the screen decrease, and each feature seemed to require a certain number of "credits".

Can you not switch the rear lights to come on with the daytime running lights in the Audi MMI menu? Or only with this device? Drives me mad seeing cars at night with only DRL at front but no rear lights on.
You can just turn on "parking lights", you'll get interior lights, taillights, DRLs, and side marker lights (which is not much different from DRL alone), and your low beams will still be off. It's close enough to what you're asking. Btw, the idiots who leave their lights off with the DRLs on are extremely stupid people and do it either because they're ignorant or think it looks cool. I see it mostly on newer cars with auto headlights, so they're purposely turning them off or forgetting them in the off position in most cases!

Hi WiZe, as always nice video! Have you actually managed to keep the bird-eye view on by default? I've noticed it went straight to this view when you switch to reverse. Still doesn't work on my S5 and it's driving me nuts. What's the point of paying for this move feature when it's not enabled by default.
That's a bug; Reverse camera doesn't keep the setting you choose. Audi is aware and it's working on a fix. (They said that 6 months ago and still nothing)

Did your G force meter actually work? I have now purchased this device and added the G force meter but it doesn’t seem to work, it lights up red when parked then goes white when you start moving but nothing else happens, I would be interested to hear if yours worked or if I have missed something, thank you in advance.
Unfortunately, activating this through OBDEleven isn't enoug; you need to purchase some hardware that the RS models have. Didn't enquiry enough to know exactly what it's needed...
I noticed when you disabled VIM the screen said may not work on all 2018 models which have MIB unit with software version 116 and newer. I tried to do this and it wouldn't work on my 2018 A6, I took it to a pro who used VCRS coding and couldn't get it to work/find the correct code, Tried all ways to disable VIM on my MMI, any suggestions as my 2018 seems to be different
Did you ever get to have the VIM on your 2018 enabled. I also have a 2018 and looking for ways to have this done, its been a year and no luck for me so far😅
hi wize, can the device change ambient lighting of the vehicle? I have the s5 SB with premium plus package which doesnt have the Ambient lighting plus package. It will be great if this device can change the ambient lighting. thanks.

That’s a great device but what a huge shame it is only for Android 😱, I was all for getting one until I saw that, hope the manufacturers see sense and bring out the App for iOS
I would suggest u buy a cheap Android device and be near to any wifi location (malls, Starbucks etc) or near ur driveway and do your coding. They have been working on iOS for years now. Maybe apple is not playing nice...🤔
This Video is just basic advertising. He never says a word about the price which is a shame for potential customers. Regrading credits it should be free for him so he don't care.
Hello. Maybe my comment was a bit rude and sorry if it was misunderstood. Just wanted to highlight that for me the video doesn't provide enough details and sounds too much like an ad instead of a proper test. I already know this product for more than one year and was thinking to buy it. It's just that support of seat and skoda cars was lacking one years ago. But maybe it provide better support today...
