Hi, great video! I have a 2023 Seat Arona FR. Do you know how easy it is to identify an airbag issue with this software and device? Or, in the worst case, is it possible to disable the affected airbag and get rid of the airbag light? I assume that this should be done in the coding option, under Advanced Settings, right? Thanks in advance!
Even on an older Seat Altea (2008) it will tell you exactly what airbag is the problem. It's not a special thing though. You don't need a specific interface for that. Any decent scan tool will tell you which airbag has a fault. I don't know if they would have a function to turn an airbag light off by software as it's kind of an important thing lol. You can fool the system into thinking an airbag module is functional by adding a 3.3ohm resistor (or there abouts) across the airbag connector. Airbag modules will have a 2 pin connector (usually yellow or always yellow?), connect the resistor between those two pins. Of course all warnings about disabling airbags, danger blah blah blah apply :P
