I return to VCF once again! VCF East 2024, and the show keeps getting better and better! I tried not to bring as much stuff home this time, but as always, I failed... :-D. Enjoy!

You certainly did put on one heck of a show! Enjoyed your museum walk-through, I didn't get to see that part. Especially enjoyed the contrast of your intro "look at all this stuff I'm getting rid of" to the ending "Oh no, I have more stuff" :)

The table with all the broadcasting cable TV and headend equipment was basically an entire on-air path from a TV station!

I see you passed through Harrisburg. You were on the double-merge from 581 to I-83 south, heading to the Turnpike entrance.

Thanks for the walk thru. Funny. My parents' retirement home was 8 miles from the museum off Allaire Road and they are buried 4 miles away at St. Anne's Cemetery. Small world. I never knew the museum was there despite being into vintage computing for decades. I wonder if they have old computers from Ft. Monmouth. My sister worked there. Of course IBM, Bell Labs and AT&T had a big presence in the area.

Fully featured - from combobulation to discombobulation and recombobulation at your place. Bloody hell, that's so much awesome stuff! I wish I could go there. Call the Asgard to beam me in... "Cowculator"... Moo! Bet the Philbrick could act as a decent modular synth. Totally tubular! Waiting till I see the IBM 1132 on UE :) Big WANG... waaaaaay bigger than Dave's! There's always a time when WANG owners compare their sizes, haha.

I'm going to need a LOT more info on the channel scrambling thing. I've always been curious how that worked, and would be fascinated in a thorough walkthrough of both the scrambling and descrambling sides. Just getting into NTSC video, circuit design, and a bit of graphics coding to write my own signal gens and such.

I am interested in how the automatic power on function worked on those Channel One TVs, and the headend equipment that was usually located in the school library or in my case the principal’s office

How is an emergency alert system typically activated? Phone call and code? I ask because locally, they seem to very often be activated in prime time when it would be far less intrusive, since it's just a test, to activate it in the early AM.

Mr negative about retro Amiga 4096 colours. Mac 2 se with 256 colours so cute and overpriced junk 😂

Thank you for documenting the shows. But please try not to whip pan the camera back and forth... VertigoCAM... :)

Well it's kind of hard to get it all in the frame because it goes down both sides

I"m part of LGR's fan base and beyond playing games Amiga's are quite useless. fun to play with but useless. Macs are infinitely more useful.. so much so you can literally run mac os on an Amiga. And this is from someone who owns an Amiga 1200.
