Hello I'm having a doubt, our antibody has two chain (Heavy) so do this process occurs twice in our cell?? If any one has idea pls clear my doubt.

I think that transcription of a gene is not a one-time event but it rather occurs several times, bringing many mRNAs and consequently many polypeptides of the same type. However, the VDJ recombination is supposed to be unique.
