You can hear from the idle of that HQ that clearly the VE was fucked from the get go. He also was tight lipped about the Nitrous. Can clearly see he's raced many times. Guy in wagon done well. No real match considering the mods between the two

Not sure skill is really in question here when you run a purpose built auto against any manual…push loud pedal to floor and hold on for auto …stock t56 manual ….much more skill to even keep up …bit of a mismatch really .

'Genuine GTS...' mate, you might call it a 'genuine' but it is fair from stock. It's been smicked up with all sorts of goodies. The Q GTS was basically a standard Q body with some bling. Some had their suspension stiffened up but only if the bits were available. GMH would pretty much get away with whatever they could as cheaply as they could. Virtually every thing beyond 173ci and three on the tree was an optional extra unless you purchased the model with the bits included. Having said all that I had a heap of Monroes and I loved them all.

What a horrid wagon atleast get a decent intake dude. I got a 2010 manual with a lengthened diff.. try simple things first.. if you run a growler you must live on the forums lol. I'm running 320 hp stock l98 with t56 and and a gts diff gear at 3.27. At least your competition is dumbo lol
