Good job bro but you are doing it the hard way. You can keep all the vector icons in the same illustrator file but each on a different layer and then import the file in AE. Now you have the option to import a single layer of this file or all the layers separately.

and I want to recommend u too separate ur vector in Illustrator by moving every thing u want to animate in different layers. Like in Freepik, they put every shape in 1 layer, so u can tap the "new layer button" in the bottom and drag elements in the new layer. after that u save AI.file and drag it to the after effects, where u must choose in Import Kind: Composition and in Footage Dimensions: Layer Size. WHY? because this method better for people with low-mid PCs, cause method in the video is unaccrued, cause u will work with bigger projects, than a cloud. For example - U need to animate vector human. Limbs and head. In my method u can set what u need for arm and for leg. but in his method - it will break our human in pieces (shapes), so every shape, line and whatever will be an object. It is harder to animate EVERY piece of arm or whatever and ESPECIALLY its harder for ur system. (My apologies for English, I`m not a native speaker)
This title is missleading.. it's not AE to illustrator, I'm actually looking for a solution to get my shape layers created in AE back to illustrator layers. Anyone can help?

well ... and how can I really animate the clouds? I would like to move the anchorpoints (the illustrator-anchorpoints, not the AE-anchorpoint, which sets the center of the layer) to deform and let develop themself like a real cloud ...
I can't make it work with my AI.file to continuously rasterize the vector file. It's still edged and pixelated. While in Illustrator it's a clean vector file. What can i do?

It was pretty useful for me, just to get the basics of using vector art in AE (basically to know the Constantly Rasterize option is a thing). I do agree 10 minutes is a bit long for what is essentially 4 mouse clicks but hey, gotta get that ad revenue
