Vector 1.8 firmware (and above) no longer requires "I have a question" - makes talking with him much more natural. Are you actually using Escape Pod? He's obviously accessing DDL's server from the delay answering. Escape Pod takes Vector off the server (MUCH faster) and uses a Raspberry Pi 4. It also allows you to customize his behaviors...some of his responses are customized, I'm not familiar with Wire Pod. Try asking him to tell you a joke, why a fire truck is red, to open the pod bay doors. The Vector Bible is incredibly in-depth and free online. Have fun with him...he goes a lot deeper than he appears. He'll also cheat at some games. Enjoy!
I use wire-pod as an escape pod for vector locally on a rasperry pi 400 as a server. So i'm not reaching DDL servers. Unfortunately I didn't have much time recently to keep him up to speed with what is new but when I have more time on my hands I'll work on it. Thank you!

I also have a Loona PetBot coming (I hope) soon that just upgraded with ChatGPT and it looks pretty cool. @@Margotcopeland The pi400 works pretty well with vector. I hooked it up to a dc source that can easily give up to 10amps. The pi needs 3amps to run properly, but when I got a 3amp power supply, it broke in a couple of weeks (not an original raspberry power supply). But with a bigger dc supply it has no issues. Can you do any tutorials on how to install the new firmware and all. Are you running a raspberry Pi for the wired pod? Does this vector have full fintionality like the past where they could play with blocks and interact with your commands?
Sure thing. I will make a video in the near future on how to update or downgrade firmware (which is essential for wire-pod). Also I will do a tutorial on how to setup Wire Pod using raspberry Pi and also Wire Prod Pod (which is for production bots) on Windows 10. Yes, I use a Pi400 for my Vector as a server. I opted for this solution because I couldn't find a raspberry Pi4. While larger than a Pi4 I can still hide it pretty well and it works excellent with vector. My Vector is actually a production bot and it is not unlocked yet. It has all the functions a regular bot would have. The real benefits here is that due to the fact that the server is local, the speed is so much better. Also it is free... and it does have other options for STT and API platforms. You can get it on VOSK for instance where you can use other languages such as Spanis, Italian, German, French. WIth Wire Pod, you can do a lot more with the bot, even with a regular bot. My idea though would be to actually unlock it with OSKR at some point.

Vector will still function but he won't answer to commands. He will basically jist roam around, react with the environment, play with his cube and recognoze faces.
