@paulcooper7162 Nice build! I am new to the hobby and just have 1 other boat. I am buying stock or Pro and deciding what base to build off of. To do a hi-spec build like your Turnigy-based Pro, is it more cost-effective to buy the stock (vs Pro) given many parts will be upgraded? +USD $60 for the Pro. Unsure if the steering rod is stronger in the Pro. Also Was this non-pro build upgraded electronics?
Thanks,yes flycolor but with the Hefei 63v capacitor bank the esc kept cool as it should do .I've removed the Integrated drive system from this and gone back to a normal strut system sure was aiming for the sky 😊👍

Hi 😊👍 I don't know how to do a link but I buy the stuff from AliExpress Tilkiea model Store,they have everything but I would recommend the SSS 3674 2075kv motor and flycolor 150A ESC ,40-42 mm prop 1.4p 2 blade CNC from Tilkiea model Store.I would use RC boat strut from Rcboatbitz Australia,Genesis upgrade strut and trim fins from FT011
@@paulcooper7162 perfect thank you just recently ordered a fake go pro to do videos hopefully can get a few decent ones definitely going to put down some carbon fiber or fiberglass inside the hull as it's pretty thin
@@cwhitmer762 That's good 😊👍 In done with the SR80 hull they crack easily up top so I've gone for the fiberglass Arowana mono hull 2 self righting boat.Fiberglass with epoxy doesn't really stick to abs plastib
@@paulcooper7162 ah ok what did you do for stinger upgrade and I believe you used a brass tub for the flex shaft was there a different shaft you went with ? My dream is to just make my own hull out of fiberglass or carbon fiber like a diy

😊👍 yes I did well may look like that,I just checked my strut angle was pointing up should be down will try again,you know how it is upgrading testing can't always get it right first time
@@IRONCLADRC Thanks man 😊👍 I also noticed my trim tabs were pointing wrong way I've just hit it back onto 5s 120-240c lipo to try again 6s is a bit wild .I'm waiting for the day you get your wee yellow boat wheelstanding 😊
Oh yea? What you had to much up trim on the tabs?? I've just finished the sniper up! Only thing left is to trim up the Rudder I think I'm gonna give it a rip before I shorten rudder so I can see how it rides.
@@IRONCLADRC I had the trim so it would not push the front of the boat down but have changed that..Nice one 😊👍 I think its good to try with longer rudder at first ,will look later I hope she goes well the first time you never know could go perfect 👍
