Beki- Thank you for this clear and thorough instruction for Pocket Toolpaths. When would it be advantageous to over or under cut a pocket allowance? Is there a video that would address this topic?
Hello Mom... LOL... It all depends. If you are looking to insert somehting into a pock we normally suggest you cust a test part to be sure you don't need a pocket allowance. In most cases you would need to make the pocket a bit larger to accept another part.
Hello Julia... thanks for the question. There should be a checkbox for you if there are advanced toolpath options available in that toolpath strategy. For example at 4:40 in this video, you can see the checkbox just below "Cut Depth". ~Todd
