Veg.Pulao.... Simple, Tasty and interesting recipe. Though prepared easily, the outcome is Supreme. I know my comments are late, but last time when I prepared this recipe I did not forward my comments for reasons I don't remember. I prepared this dish again today ie 13thAug2023. I have prepared Veg. Pulao many a times earlier,but the flavour and taste I enjoyed from your recipe was just too too exclusive. You can add coconut milk too. It comes whiter and rich taste. Every homemaker (mothers usually) in Tamilnadu learnt it from their elders, every city has a different unique style. Traditional home cooks were best and followed age old recipes. Today women and some chef use mix and match and cook westernized dishes (cake and pasta perfectly but cannot make Idly like our grand mothers did)
Ya adding coconut milk adds a very good flavour to it... My mom used to add it... I used to wonder why when i was younger. Now after cooking the same i realized how much flavour it adds.. She used fresh coconut ground and milk extracted from it
