I'm from Ladakh and watching a Punjabi making our food is one of the most surprising experiences of my life. I never expected to find any tutorial for making thukpa especially by a Punjabi. This is an example of Unity in Diversity.
Well I'm from Nepal and u mentioned Timmur which taste very peppery and smells nice and we nepali mostly used in chutney and in nepal thukpa mostly eaten in winter and in monsoon when temperature drops. There r some basic ingredients which is used in thukpa dish such as chilly oil hot chilly paste with szechuan pepper and toasted garlic paste which enhance the flavour in different level. Ranveer sir ney banaye haar receipe ka bataney ka andaaz different level ka hai jo mujhe bahot bahot hi pasand aata hey.
Finally!!! Thank you so much for creating the Tibetan version of thukpa. Most of the time on RU-vid I only see the Nepali version. In UK i grew up eating this a lot since their is alot of Tibetan settlement. Even though alot of nepali population is here too but in market you see the Tibetan version mostly. ❤❤❤❤
I am from Nasik and when you were rolling dough for noodle I remembered our dish “Shengule” which is made from horsegram and green garlic.. all ladies come together and roll that 😍😍😍

छत्तीसगढ़ के हिल स्टेशन मैनपाट में 1961 में तिब्बतियों को बसाया गया था वो अपने साथ तिब्बती खाना भी लेकर आए वहाँ कई तिब्बती रेस्टोरेंट हैं।वहाँ मैंने पहली बार थुपका और भाखलेफ खाया था & it was so delicious ❤❤❤
Hi Ranveer , Ritvik here although I live in Russia nowadays but I have recently been craving some Himachali cuisine I would love to see your twist on some dishes from Himachal Pradesh. Another idea I thought would be great was if you were to travel all over India and explore different cuisines from different states it would be pretty incredible……well take my ideas with a grain of salt 😂 hoping to see some incredible dishes in the future from you.

Thanks for mentioning that there are different versions. I had learnt from a Tibetian(Lama) and he did the noodles then and there and made Thukpa for us and we both were blown away by the simple taste of it and it was so warmn on that cold day. Awesome Chef......accha baja lete ho!

ये डिश पहली बार मुझे मेरे जीजा ने खिलाई थी, देहरदून के भाऊवाला के न्यू भाऊवाला रेस्टोरेंट में, ये डिश बहुत ज्यादा चटपटी, तीखी और मसालेदार होती है, खाने के बाद आंख, नाक सब जगह से पानी आने लगता है, जो लोग पहली बार खाए वो हाफ प्लेट ही ऑर्डर करे क्योंकि कई लोग जो पहली बार खा रहे है वो आधा खा कर ही छोड़ देते है, इतनी चटपटी होती है ये डिश, सादा खाना खाने वाले इस डिश से दूर ही रहे, वैसे ये हिमाचल प्रदेश की डिश है, मगर उत्तराखंड में भी बहुत फेमस है, पहाड़ों में तो इस डिश को सभी लोग जानते होंगे, क्योंकि थुपका खाने का असली मजा ठंड के मौसम में ही आता है, और पहाड़ी इलाकों में तो साल भर ठंड पड़ती रहती है, कई लोग इसे थोपा भी बोलते है मगर इसका असली नाम थुपका ही है।

To make Semiaya on an inverted pitcher, use the palm of your hand and fingers are not used, fingers are widened and lifted up while rolling the dough with your palm.

We make noodles with a special method...pressing the dough in a wooden appliance....unable to explain...You should visit Tawang and Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh..a special..noodles..called Puta..is eaten here,you will make your own version...I know.....
