I'm drunk...and sad about my gluten and other food allergies, like onion/chive. How do you not get depressed? J&J kitchen gives me so much joy and hope and motivation... but how do you not get depressed?
I have celiac as well, and after watching this ordered Laurens cook book. As someone who is also vegan, can you give me some advise as to how you navigate the vegan recipies that arent GF? I've noticed a lot of vegan recipies are flour based or arent really GF friendly. Obvisously some things are easier to substitute than others. What is your plan when you tackles these recipies?
I absolutely loved this, Julien!! love seeing you find new, interesting ways to show us stuff 🤗 also.. I need to get this cookbook asap I can't fight it anymore
Love this perspective!!! Honestly this is why I love your vlogs. You always find new amazing and creative ways to tell us your story!:) still waiting on a “WE GOT A CAT” vlog tho...
Amazingly cool, Julien! I love the POV thing. Makes me feel really tall (and good at cooking). On the same note, I've never seen Jenna from such a high angle before, it's usually her height or lower. She looks so small and cute!
This video is so dope (and yes I am hungry now), but I think it would've been so much more cohesive if the only sound was Jenna's "mmm" at the end. Your creativity is so awesome and it's so cool to see your style progress over time.
I REALLY missed eggs benny since I became vegan, but was always apprehensive to make a vegan version. Thanks for the inspiration Julien, I definitely want to try it now :D
I truly think it's amazing that you and jenna show yourself cooking vegan meals that are more involved and have more complex flavor/texture. I am personally trying to slowly change my veg diet to more of a vegan one, and these videos inspire me to start using my vegan cookbook more. :) (I have taken culinary classes for my major so I know how to use all the equipment/spices, but only when I'm preparing meat for the most part. I just need to actually start applying my knowledge into making vegan recipes on my own!) Thanks for the inspiration!!
I like the POV style but I kind of hate the fact that he emphasizes his movements and makes it look so abrupt. Like slamming things down, grabbing them really quickly, lots of jump cuts, it's a bit stressful. I'd prefer it if you kept it more smooth flowing, especially with the chill music you put over it. Thanks Julien!
