About us:
After meeting in New Zealand back in 2017, Beth and Jake have travelled the world, working online and creating memories.
Beth left the UK in 2014 and has been travelling full time ever since, she is the owner of www.sheisthelostgirl.com and has a passion for writing and photography.
Jake has been travelling since 2016 and during this time has perfected his photography and videography skills. He is adventurous and has a passion for the outdoors.
Having lived in various countries around the world, we decided that instead of settling down, we'd build a tiny home inside a van.
We've never done anything like this before, we have no building experience, no electrical experience, and no plumbing experience.
This is a huge learning curve for us and we welcome you to join us in this challenge.
Our Wild Horizons documents a journey of continued adventure.

Excellent informative video on vegan options. Many thanks for showing how important cruelty free life is to you. There are many van life folks who simply pay lip service and you have to pressure them to talk about vegan food. Nice work and thanks again.

Hi ! Im Johnny from Costa Rica. Im visiting Istanbul with my mother (who is not vegan) for a week next autumn and I was already wondering what to eat there :S. Your video is awesome and I will surely visit the one you found closed (with our without mum), and give you some feedback :). I'm more into spicy food and not so much like sweets (unlike her); and your disimilar tastes were fun to watch and really projected how the food really tastes while adding something personal to it ! I loved the breakdown review at the end of each meal too :D Cheers thanks and take care !! #vfta

Yes! And it seemed like every street had a pile of cat food on it. They and the dogs were all well cared for. I’d argue the dogs were even too fat some times!

As a Turkish person, I don't think your judgment of the open buffet place at around 15:30 was fair. Those are all traditional Turkish homemeals which we call "zeytinyağlı" (olive oil food). They are neither meant to be eaten fresh nor hot. They can wait for long hours without going bad and are best eaten after sitting for some time. Most are even preferred to be served refrigerated. So, the open buffet design is actually perfect for those types of food. They are not even "vegan" alternatives by the way, they are all authentic Turkish food which happen to be vegan.
@RomanGuy-m1x
@RomanGuy-m1x Год назад
The reason the price of vegan Turkish food is so much higher than regular vegetarians (lacto-vegetarian) food is, of course, because vegans are willing to pay it. You are in a niche market. I loved Istanbul for vegetarian food - very easy to find, especially for breakfast.

Thank you so much for the compliment! We use the Sony alpha range but always set to 4k25 (25 since we spend most time in the Europe and Asia which runs on PAL instead of NTSC like in the North Americas. I also like to use an ND filter to keep the shutter speed natural too. Thanks for watching!
