In my youth i travelled the world as a vegetarian and France was the most insanely difficult country to be vegetarian I experienced. Huge amounts of attitude, and always trying to put fish or eggs into my food. I got heartily sick of eating ratatouille (skiing holiday where hotel served set menus. I asked if being vegetarian who didn't eat eggs would be a problem. Was assured they could cater for me. They didn't). This is very encouraging. I guess times change.
Thank you for this! I crossed France off my list for a long time because everyone talks about how bad it is to be vegan their and how they don't like vegans 😅 These definitely look sooo good.
@louise You just described my father ahah x) Yep, very much accurate, people have hate towards Vegan but things are moving in the right direction ! Slaughterhouse turned into a sanctuary, dairy factory turned into plant milk one !
Thank you for sharing this! My husband and I will be in Paris for a conference (covid permitting) in June. Hubby is vegetarian and I am vegan and I was really worried I would be struggling while we were there. We are taking a short holiday after the conference to take a little trip around the south of France for a couple weeks but we will have rented accommodation so will be able to cook our own meals. I am really looking forward to going to Paris now that I know there are places to eat. 💚
you're so welcome! I'm glad it was helpful. you def don't need to worry about finding vegan food in paris. when in doubt, find a falafel place!! lol. south of France may be a bit harder but there's a strong Mediterranean influence there so you can always find something
@@AnnaWildman yes, really bad food hygiene practices, maybe its different in france . But the uk England they would get done by the health inspectors.... seriously, I wouldn't of wanted to eat there
