Annette Dennis thank you!! Ugggh I know, I mean about the views... I think what I’m making is pretty great, but I guess I just can’t get the attention I need. Not sure how much longer I can sustain, this is basically just a very expensive hobby at this point and RU-vid just don’t pay anything to match the cost to make the videos 😩 But thank you for noticing!😘

Just wow felt so happy after watching this,it looks so goooood!!Shocked that chickpeas water can be beaten into meringue and can be baked too. Can't imagine the shock of who have ever thought of that the first time haha

Gretchen, this cake is a gem. I love it! I love how awesome that almond dacquoise is. I tell you it just blows my mind on how that aquafaba whips up like eggwhites it looks just like it. This cake is awesome! Love it!!

That looks amazing! ❤️ Rafaelo was my favourite sweet before I went vegan 🙂 I will have to try to healthify this and make it without the vegan butter, perhaps using coconut milk for the cake and the buttercream instead 😉

awesome!! Yes you can! Fill cupcake liners 3/4 full, same temperature bake for maybe 20-25 minutes?? Check at 18 to be sure

Have you tried using aquafaba as an egg replacement in cakes? PLEASE ANSWER!!!!

Yes I have, as liquid AF (Not whipped) it does fine, however I don't love it in all cake recipes, sometimes I feel it makes the result too gummy. Whipped it doesn't work because AF does NOT like high temperatures, it will collapse and deflate in the oven leaving a super sticky mess. There are a couple bloggers who claim to have had success making vegan sponge cake.. Ive tried both recipes with FAIL, as did all teh people who commented on the recipes. I am going to keep trying though!

Do you cut the cake in half on all three or just two? If I’m using 8” Pan should I cut both in half? Please advice. Thanks

I use 7" cake pans so all the batter gets divided equally into those 3- pans. If you only have 8" pans you can just make a 2 layer cake instead (OR cut those 2-8" layers into 4 layers) its your option

Hi Gretchen where did you buy your dairy free white chocolate? I need to make this for Sunday for my birthday 🎂 and I also wanna to tell you that I don’t have dehydrator can I use my oven at 175 F and for how long? This is the low setting for my oven. Please please reply ASAP

Would a cheesecake pan work for this? Or mini springform pans? I'm wondering if it will be too sticky to transfer.

Gretchen's Bakery hi Gretchen. I made the cake 🍰 and it tasted delicious 😋 however the Swiss buttercream meringue it’s a little too rich. I look at the measurement for the butter it says 1 1/2 cup and you put (339 grams) which I did like that. I think it’s too much. But overall it’s good.
