Tim---You are so generous in your affirmations!!! You are such a gentleman---so much finess!!! I enjoyed this buffet----but the crab meat was SO salty!! However---the serving staff was excellent!! And-frankly---I had so much fun!!!! Travelling to Vegas was on my Bucket List, Enjoying the Buffet was also a Bucket List Item! Your influences have blessed me, Tim!!
Hey Denise, sounds like you had a blast! That's fantastic! Yeah, some food are hit and miss sometimes. It's also a fun over the top experience in Vegas :-) Wish you all the best :-)
Thanks so much blondeboyy! Much appreciated -- they certainly have done a great job on the atmosphere plus is food is pretty good too :-) Have you tried any places in Vegas?
I certainly watch All you Can Vegas, Mark Wiens, Mikey Chen, etc quite a lot -- very helpful for the Vegas visits (as well as a vicarious way to experience it) -- Derek has an awesome channel... Just doing this for fun and really enjoy interacting with everyone here. Quite a nice break/respite from the stresses of work. Thank you so much for you very kind comment and support :-)
Tim i seen yummy mushrooms, sausage and that prime rib, sausage and mushrooms are definitely some of my favorites at buffet especially sausage, because i don't have sausage very often. My uncle makes fun of my love for mushrooms because i always have to have mushrooms on my pizza. Thank you again for sharing your buffet experience with us look forward to part 2.
Thanks wise man! Ahhhh...mushrooms.... certainly love mushrooms here too... Sausage and mushroom pizza? ;-) Thanks so much again -- sorry I had to break this in parts -- not very good at video editing and trying to get a video with all the places together (or in a timely fashion) is beyond the scope of my abilities :-) Thanks again!
Thanks Sally! LOL - I certainly questioned why I took only one Brussels sprout while editing -- not sure why I do half the things I do on the videos :-) It was tasty though :-) Thanks again!
Hi Tim, Thanks for your review the 24 hrs Buffets pass . we stay at the Paris Hotel 2 yrs ago. The Village Buffet didn"t change much and we do get 10 % off while we stay at their Hotel. Great vlog.
Thanks Jacinta! That's certainly an amazing place to stay! They really did an amazing job with the atmosphere there at the hotel and the the buffet -- there was a coffee/bakery across from the buffet that had the best coffee and pastries I've had. I must say, after the first 2 buffets, I was beginning to wear out :-) 6 buffets in 24 hours was a challenge -- but very memorable :-) Unfortunately, after my buffet pass, I had to go to another buffet with a friend that was booked a while back... too much of a good thing... :-)
Hi Jessica R! Thank you so much -- just having fun there with the videos. I saw those videos with the $20 trick as well -- Actually, I did try that in the Philippines at one of the Fairmont hotels. I just gave the check-in desk a $20 USD tip at the beginning and thanked him attending to us. During the check-in process, I asked if there were any upgrades available to which he responded that they could NOT accommodate -- I thanked him anyways. However, once we got to our room, we got a call that our room needed maintenance and they have to move us to another room of the same type. To apologize for this, they gave us access to their "gold club lounge" during the stay. It was quite nice as breakfast, cocktails, mini bites etc were included. I suspect the room maintenance issue was not a mistake :-)
very nice video Tim..I like your style..film and grab the food at the same time..might try that the next time ....so you can eat 3 buffets for the price of 1..thats awesome..i watched it twice so I can get an ad =)..didn't see the seafood station where you got the crab legs though lol
Thanks David! The reason most of the videos are about buffets is because I can't really film anything else sufficiently. Buffets are nice in that all the presentation is done for you :-) Not too much work to do after that :-) Thanks for getting the ad though :-) Actually, this was the first buffet that I had real trouble with..I got permission from the manager before filming, but one of the staff member didn't want me filming the food -- luckily that was near the end -- hence I couldn't get the seafood station.
whaaaaa...somebody gave you trouble..but you're like super nice and its Vegas but its all good..you should go to Vietnam and make those buffet videos..they would love it if you film it for them =)
I have some family friends in Vietnam right now and am looking at their pictures! This is definitely a trip I'd like to make! LOL -- I could imagine the look on your wife's face when you mentioned of going to Vietnam for RU-vid :-) You are lucky you have found someone with a sense of humor ;-)
Are you on the cruise right now Tim ? I don't know who's the lucky one Tim..you still have your freedom to do whatever you like versus me being tied down and not be able to travel for the next few years lol..I don't know how I am going to film after this
The cruise is in December. David, without a doubt, you are the lucky one with a great family :-) These videos are just a creative avenue to reduce some work stress and have some fun connecting with the people here. How would you film after this? -- two words: Disney Cruise :-) or Disney World? :-) LOL
Thanks for the feedback Joanna! --I didn't realize it myself until I did some searching! They weren't too explicit about that on the signs... It's a small discount, but every little bit helps :-)
Thanks Bonnie, greatly appreciate your message! Just very busy and exhausted with work. But very happy to have this community and a chance to connect -- really lifting the spirits :-)
@@TimLeeLetsGo What would you think of the idea of just staying ay Bacchanal all day? Would it be allowed? Would it be something you would do?You are a sweetheart, Tim!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this video. The picture quality is out of this world. What kind of camera is that? I'm coming to Vegas for the first time in November. I'm so excited. I've already purchased tickets for the Baccanal due to watching your video and another RU-vidr. I'm not a photographer but I want to be able to take pictures of the food I eat that will provide the quality like the one you are using. Keep the video's coming!! New subscriber here.😀
Awe, thanks R Dy! Are you going their for work for vacation? Hope this helps...the Bacchanal is really good! If you want to splurge, the Sterling Brunch is amazing as well, but crazy expensive! Thank you for your comment on the video -- I was really struggling as the buffet was really dimly lit! I just use my cell phone for these (the older/original Pixel phone) and am pushing its capabilities to the limit :-)
@@TimLeeLetsGo I'm going for my birthday!!! So the trip is for a celebration/short vacation. I'll have to look more into the Sterling to see what they offer. You have an awesome phone...and whatever you are doing, keep doing it. It's working. 😀
Hey Tim! We're about to head out to Vegas for vacation soon. We also purchased the buffet of buffets pass. Out of all the buffets listed, which would be your top 3?
Awesome Leila! Make sure you go to Caesars (Bacchanal) buffet -- there is an upgrade charge but worth it.. Rio is second and just make sure you catch the happy hour if you want crab. The third would be the Village buffet -- great atmosphere :-) -- Avoid the Planet hollywood Spice Market buffet -- a bit of a disappointment. Hope that helps and have a great vacation!
Bob jour, Tim! Paris is still one of the prettier buffets in Vegas. Pretty solid, even though not nearly as elaborate with their dishes as they were years ago.... but you can say that about most of the buffets in recent years.
Bob soir, Rick! -- this is as French as I get :-) Certainly very good on the decor, but food is only fair. Yeah -- buffets places need an uplift from time to time -- they don't age well :-)
Love your videos. I have been there a few times the buffet itself is beautiful the food not so much, A little disappointing. The Rio buffet is better and las a lot more selections. Also Studio B is probably the best buffet in Vegas. It just doesn't get mention enough because it is off the strip.
Thanks so much Raul Diaz! Greatly appreciated and certainly do agree! The Paris is good, but the Rio is still better even with their recent changes. I must say, all in all, I do think the Studio B is the best and my go to place :-)
Thanks Sinister K -- much appreciated. Just making these vids for fun -- mainly enjoy interacting with the people here. Would love to explore a city, but my video editing capabilities are quite limited -- hence limited to the buffets, though I enjoy those very much. I might give a city tour a shot one of these days -- thank you for the suggestion! :-)
Hello again SimpleLife D. That's a good question :-) Be careful because there's a bit of an add on cost. When I went, it was about $70 on the weekend (which has more selection), but there's a catch!!! If you want to go to the Caesars Bacchanal buffet (which I think you should visit), there is an additional charge! I did this once in order to try all the buffets (and I wasn't feeling too well by the end). If I were to go a second time, I would probably only stick to 1 or 2 great buffets during my visit (such as Caesars Bacchanal, Sterling Brunch, or Studio B) Hope this helps.
Hey Tristan, that's a very good idea! and in fact, that's what I did as well. Check the buffets for the ones that are opened late. For my, Paris was opened late and that's the one I went to on the first night. Also, just a tip, if you plan to go to Caesars, make sure you account for the line-up time. I saved that as my last stop with just an hour remaining on my pass, but the lineup to get in was over 2hrs. Luckily, one of the staff members was nice enough to make an exception :-)
Hi Delphine, hope this reply finds you well. You can get these passes right at the buffet (at any of the participating buffets). Just make sure you get a loyalty card at the casino as I believe you get about 10% off.
I generally leave the prices either in the video captions or in the video description . Just be careful as some of the videos were taken a while ago and prices would have certainly changed since
Did the 24 hour pass last time we were there and the Paris was the worst out of the bunch, after this every other one was great especially the Rio and ceasars
Thanks Chris! Selection at the Paris was a bit limited -- I found Planet Hollywood to be quite disappointing. I really did like Caesars and Rio though -- Caesars was worth the addition upgrade cost :-)
@@TimLeeLetsGo I went to PH for breakfast so I couldn't complain but the bacchanal was just awesome! People would cringe at the price but the quantity and quality is what made it worth while!
Hi Helen. You can get then at any of the buffet at the Caesar's group of resorts. Just go to any buffet in the Caesar's group and you have the option to buy the pass there. Suggestion is to start with a late dinner so you can squeeze in two dinners while the pass is valid. Good luck 😀
@@TimLeeLetsGo omg that sounds perfect. I had no idea you could do that. Finally something to look forward to when I get to Vegas. That'll be an even better option than just having to stand in line to pay at every buffet.
Hi James Eliot, you can get those at any of the buffets that are part of the Caesars Group. It's just another option that you chose when paying for the buffet. Just a heads up, if you do decide to go, make sure you get a loyalty card from Caesars as you get some discounts (approx $10 i believe)
Hi DisneyDoofs🙂. Are you going to Vegas soon? My top choice would be the Studio B ... great value and experience, Carsars is good but pricy, and Aria quite a hidden gem. On a side note, I found that the Aria has a all you can eat brunch at the restaurant...I never tried but seems promising.
@@TimLeeLetsGo Thanks so much for the suggestions. I'll be going for a couple days near the holidays. I am there for like 5 days leading up to Christmas so I hopefully won't be caught up in the holiday prices if I go before. Definitely will go to Bacchanal and I will try Aria. May even investigate into that brunch. Studio B may be a little hard to get too but you never know! Thanks again.
Hi Tim, I was going to Vegas in Dec 2019. I will be there for 1 day and will be doing this 24 hour buffet. Some of your videos are missing, so I wanted to ask how you would attack this deal if you could do it all over again. Please reply as I would appreciate it. Also, I bet you could do a video response and your viewers would appreciate it very much since some of the videos are missing from your account.
@@sharkparty1027 bacchanal is the best out of the group but you have to pay an up charge. But yes out of the others that are included Rio is the best. We did Paris for breakfast, planet hollywood for lunch, and then Rio for dinners.
@@sharkparty1027 I cant remember if there was a time limit. But it is definitely a step above all the other locations. My wife and I went for a dinner by itself one night and it was her favorite place she ate the entire trip. I prefer gordon ramsay burger just for the oreo shake!
Hello vonlipi! Yeah -- trying to find from French themed music :-) Actually, I initially went to Vegas for a conference and decided to stay over the weekend. Only trouble was that I was by myself and got bored...and hence started to eat at many of the buffets and filmed them. The next 2 times I went was for a bit of a vacation with some friends -- one was one a way back from a cruise (LA to Vancouver with Vegas as a stop), and the other was to actually try some of the other buffets after watching Mikey Chen, All you can Vegas, and other channels. (I'm from Vancouver so that flights to Vegas is only about $100 round trip when on sale so very affordable) Do you go to Vegas much?
Thanks Dennis Miliken! That actually freaked me out!!! I thought it was a cockroach or a mouse underneath... It was just one of the tips of the crab legs in a weird angle while panning... It does look very real though -- was about to get sick as I ate from that pile :-)
@@andreag8043-- believe me, I was rewinding that too!!! I thought it was a cockroach when Dennis mentioned it... I must admit I got a bit freaked out :-)
Thanks Andrew -- much appreciate your help and feedback :-) Yeah, I was having some much trouble focusing especially in that dimly lit environment. At this point, I'll blame the phone (rather than the operator - me). Actively looking for a real camera -- was thinking of the GoPro :-)
LOL John :-) Yeah, I got surprised after reviewing the video. Was trying to sample as many things I can at the buffet, but even with just one item of each dish, that was impossible ... Good problem to have though :-)
Hi gord johnson, basically the pass is good for all buffets that are owned by the Caesars Group for 24 hours. It was about $75 for the weekend pass (but there is an additional up charge for the Bacchanal buffet... Hope that helps. (Also, you get a slight discount if you have the Caesars loyalty card)
Hi Siora7777, I'm actually not aware of most of the things I say in the videos until I start editing. Yeah, I noticed I've been saying that a lot and should watch out for that. Actually, I don't eat like the way I do in the buffet videos normally (-- not a surprise there :-) ). Many years ago, I had some health issues related to high blood sugar -- and was also a bit more spherical in shape :-). As a way to resolve the heath issues, I've been eliminating carbs and sugars from the diet. The normal diet is mainly geared towards fats and some protein. It's quite strange, but it was successful in resolving my health issues. This is becoming my natural tendency and is coming out in the videos :-)
Thanks for the comment Ralph -- you mentioned it was second to worst -- I gotta know, which one was the worst? :-) I personally had a pretty poor time at Planet Hollywood on a weekend dinner, but thankfully that was part of the 24 hr buffet pass so I could just leave.
You can buy it in any of the buffets. Like he said to make it worthwhile, buy it at dinner, then use it the next day and make sure you use it the next night for dinner before the 24 hour period expires
