I think Vipers got unlucky. Probably their best performance so far and thats tough against the Defenders. Falling an inch short of that TD though 🤦‍♂️

The Vipers can’t catch a break no matter what. I wasn’t expecting them to win but I thought they were pretty competitive for a good portion of the game and then they just crashed and burned.

The kickoff rules for the XFL are so much safer for the players over the NFL, college and even high school

Cinque Sweeting is the best player on the viper offense and the kid gets the least amount of reps .

What's with all the XFL announcers never shutting up about the over/under? Considering they mention it every 5-6 plays in the condensed highlights, it must be insufferable in the full game.

Vegas should not be 0-4. They just have key momentum moments that they come on the losing end of every week. You lost cuz you fumbled on the first snap, you lost cuz you got stuffed on fourth twice, you lost cuz you missed a chip shot, you lost cuz a WR slipped. Swept, try harder next year. No excuses, play like a champion.

Perez is still my favorite spring football QB.

Entertaining game! I hope this league sticks around. A few thoughts: *Defenders have an identity on offense: Run the spread option until the other team breaks. Mix in some chunk passes off the play action. Nice. *Still too many drops by the receivers. I know it was wet and cold, but I hope the Defenders receivers can improve on making the routine plays, routinely, as the season goes on. Plenty of room for improvement by Defenders' receiving group. *Great physical defense, again by the Defenders. The tackling is especially notable. The Defenders don't miss many tackles. Takeaways are a bonus. *The Defenders are still getting gashed in the middle of the field, with the short and intermediate passes. If the Defenders don't clean that up, the Roughnecks will exploit it. *A final word about Vegas. They are 0-4 but they do not stink like the Guardians. The Vipers play hard, and at times looked like the better team. They haven't quit, they just need a better plan for the second half of their games. Defenders 4-0!

Gotta change that one foot in rule. Getting paid, ya gotta play at the NFL level. Can't have professional players playing college level ball.

The NFL needs a league like this so guys have a choice coming out of college. You don’t have to go to Canada and play a different game. We can keep the boys at home and draft from there. It’s like a AA league for the NFL. XFL has to succeed!

I like everything except the conversion rule, you should be able to kick a field goal also. Your going to have a lot of teams lose simply because of the conversions.
