Cell only made him more confident because he had not only just reached a new level of power that made him stronger than Goku, but I think that was the only actually did nothing while the villain powered up, even helping Cell reach his perfect form.
Imagine being Vegeta, you just obtained the legandary status by becoming a legend yourself for all you know there is ZERO people who would even stand up to you not even Frieza would dream of it, you are truly THE strongest and then later on get your pride your and and you confidence shattered
Actually, holy shit you're right. Even at the Buu Tournament, even at Fighterz, even in Super, they literally never spoke a word. It's weird how he shares dialogue with Frieza, even though he _should_ hate him harder. Silent treatment ain't just hatred, it's weirdly worse.

The biggest L that Vegeta have ever received that I can think off right now is in those 2 scenes on DBS and GT. Vegeta fought Beerus but that's not the L but the fact that Bulma didn't stop Beerus from merc-ing his husband not because she loves him but because Beerus disrupted her 31st birthday and the second one is when Chi Chi suggested to swap mates and Bulma didn't even flinch and immediately agreed. Rip our boy Vegeta.
Well Chi Chi did say that she would be with Vegeta so that ain't really an L as a matter of fact that's actually an L on Bulma's part for not showing any loyalty.

If we count the manga Black Frieza gave Vegeta his most Disrespectful L in my opinion. Dude went full power in his Ultra Ego form then got one shotted by the guy he never really got to kill and the guy that destroyed his entire race and bullied him in Z. And Frieza had the *COURAGE* to basically laugh at him and not see him as a threat anymore and see him like entertainment.

Agreed. The beating from Frieza was more brutal than embarrassing. Every other fight on the list Vegeta managed to connect with some blows. But with Hit, Vegeta couldn't land a single punch while in the strongest form he had at the time.

The thing about the other ones, including the 18 and Cell fights, was that Vegeta at least got a bunch of good hits in. But with Hit, he never even got the chance to touch him.

I would say 18 was the worst, even considering the lead up to it. Despite Trunks' warning he got washed in no time and she didn't even bother with killing him. Plus the injuries weren't that bad just took him out of the fight and the fight out of him.
My thing with Vegeta is that he’s crazy cocky, and the villains know it. Going only by the Android/Cell Saga, this man became the third known SSJ (technically the 2nd) and it went all to his head; leading to Android 18 demolishing this man. Then verses Cell, this man was arguably the strongest warrior at that point, punishing Cell in his 2nd form, and yet Cell knew that if he said the right things, Vegeta would just LET him absorb 18 to become perfect. Then after that whole thing, Vegeta used the best the best power move IMO in DBZ history, the Final Flash, and Cell AGAIN showed this man why he made a terrible choice.

On this list I would say frieza because everyone else may have had their asses beat but frieza made vegeta CRY, he actually had tears in his eyes. That’s potentially the most difficult thing you could do in dragon ball because vegeta ain’t a bitch but he was so full of despair that he straight started crying.
If I had to pick I’d say it’s tied between the humiliating defeat he received from Perfect Cell getting his arm broken by 18 and the absolute one sided beat down from Kid Buu
Worst thing is the in-world plot reason. The 2 seconds he used Blue on frost dropped his power from 100% to 10% due to the power inefficiencies of the form. I WISH I was capping.
Fighting against 18 was def the most embarrassing he thought he was invincible in super saiyan form and got beat by a girl. It got so bad that his son had to step in to try and save him and he got folded too. His entire living bloodline was embarrassed by this one fight.
Hit is certainly strong, but I always wondered, if Hit didn’t have the very specific power he does, that gives him a very specific advantage over pretty much anybody, would he have been able to beat Vegeta? I don’t think he would have the strength at the time to do that, Hit is about precision, and using his super jank abilities to get one over an enemy. Moving at high speeds is something Vegeta deals with regularly in fights, but Hit isn’t just moving fast, he’s messing with time. Without that, I feel like Vegeta would have at least had a chance of winning.
Cooler checked to see if Vegeta was even man enough to continue the fight. Vegetas' giant balls got the better of him in that moment. That L was a complete disrespect.
i wanna say Cell bc that was the only one where he just threw so hard. in every other fight there was really no other outcome, but in that time he fucked around and truly found out right in front of his son.
I think his most embarrassing L came from perfect cell. Because Vegeta had imperfect Cell dead to rights. He was taking the guy apart, like he wasn’t even trying. And then she got cocky. And let imperfect Cell become perfect. And the reason why it’s his most embarrassing L is because he didn’t need to happen. He could’ve beaten the bug, and then had his little fight with Goku because he was the win the Vegeta really wanted to fight anyway.
The writers are sadistic a hole to vegata, straight up evil ppl torturing a character with endless defeats because they can even if it doesn’t make sense for him to lose or not be at the same power standard as Goku. Writers need to be better writers.
