I somehow was expecting game to completely destroy her even though she's a skilled gamer. And then wonder if she's bad at it because this gameplay isn't something she normally does or she's pretending to be because it's entertaining

You are quite cultured if you remember the original the N64 controller. If you can ignore by today's standards. It's unusual shape. the joystick was the worst part of it. Nintendo systems were the stuff that I had. so I actually had a weird time getting into the Sony DualShock controllers at first. But now it would be weird going back to that crazy design XD

Shoulda played Super Mario Galaxy! one of the best! Edit; Either galaxy 1 or 2, I played both! currently have galaxy 1 in a Switch collection of (i think) 64, sunshine, and galaxy 1, with soundtracks!
