Thanks! Switched to smaller worms, got bad advice from one of the staff at the reptile store. Talked to the other guy their and he showed me the proper size.

They can eat smaller lizards and mice, pretty sure a soft squishy worm is fine. I feed my reptiles large worms, they munch through them just fine.

Mealworms and hornworms are different I suggest not feeding them that because their exoskeletons are really hard to digest for chameleon so maybe that’s why it threw up

Rayneger01 The new generation glass terrariums are built with air vents so that they maximize air flow and can be used for chameleons. Glass aquariums are bad for chameleons, glass terrariums built with suitable ventilation are fine.

That rule don't apply to soft bodied insects like hornworms,silkworms or any worm for that matter. Only if the width of the worm was thicker then his eyes not length.

If he lives in a cold climate area, then a glass enclosure is perfectly fine as it will help keep temps where they need to be, as long as proper ventilation is provided.

Yes I live in Canada and need a glass tank to keep the temp and humidity accurate. It has a good air flow as well.

I live in England a have a huge glass exo terra terrarium for my chameleon and he's absolutely fine

No you use screened cages i get if its colder to use glass but i had mine in glass temporarily and he started to attack his reflection. They're supposed to be in screens for ventilation and so they can climb better, they use the whole cage to move around. Plus they can get up to 2 feet long and glass tanks are more expensive than a screen cage. Mine has the biggest you can get and i got it for $115 shipping included so not only is it cost efficient its also better for your chameleon. If you search for chameleon cages you'll see they're almost always screen ones so yeah the original commenter is correct
