For the bright color head band just tape over the lense and rattle can it. Will save you some money and will leave you a rattle can for any future projects.
I don’t know how those Haley Strategic inserts work so well for you. The ones I have are so tight I can barely get a Colt GI mag into it and it takes an act of God to get it back out. They are beyond ridiculously tight.
Use a lighter to heat up the bend in the kydex at the bottom and then insert your mag in and out a couple times until it cools and hardens. With enough heat you can make the kydex flexible and adjust the amount of retention yourself. 👍🏽
I had a very similar setup. Added a dangler to up med contents. Added a surplus pouch behind the coms as a GP. Freed up the front two flap pouches that I now run inserts as "fast" mags while keeping the row behind bungeed down.
@@Redneck_Oper8tor also, streamlight sidewinder compact is a nice headlamp. You manually lock the desired color of light making it a simple on/off, rather than multiple pushes of the power button. Dual fuel as well running on cr123 or AA.
I’ve never had them slide out. They kinda catch on the tab from the shock cord and somewhat from the pressure from your body. They have worked great for me so far.
My Haley strategic inserts makes my magazine really tough to snatch out. How has yours been? I have the same exact chest rig and they just don’t work for me. Am I doing something wrong
@@Redneck_Oper8tor ok I see. Yeah they are very right in the mag pockets and you really have to put a little muscle to get them to come out. Thanks for reply
