I'd love to see the results with lighter pellets like the Crosman 14.3g Premier Hollow points, I think this is the pellet most shooters use because they are cheap and readily available.

Great to see another view 😀 similar to my own.I also purchased a second 2240xl and my first one is a close range tack driver with custom pistol grips,trigger job and I added a red dot for faster target placement.I believe other than perhaps a little more work on the trigger I'd like one of those multi fill units you see on ebay.I purchased the second to try and turn into a carbine but for some reason the steel breach dosen't come off as a aftermarket unit does so I'm having issues working on it and actually till I came across your videos I forgot about it

I recently purchased a 2240XL and you just saved me a ton of time and money. I would agree that you are one of the better instructors on all Utube. I also have an older SSP 250 that I will be resurrecting and adding a steel breach to (when I can figure out which one to use) as well as an older 1377 pump that needs one as well. (when I can figure out which one to use) Both look like they will be headaches. Looking forwards to viewing all your work. Thank You !

The 2240 is limited in their design. I have several. I cant believe the time and money people spend on these things, and their results is not that much more then a stock one with a modded valve shooting the right pellet at the right temperature.

Hiya Al, Yup I did the same thing. Got the first and within hours I ordered a second one. The first is show and go. Brass on the tubes,moderator, screws, gravmag and walnut grips. The second is is for performance mods. What a fun pistol. Happy plinking!

Hi Al I just got H&D sample pack it had five different pellets in it haven't shot them all yet but I'm starting to lean the way you do all that the heavier the pellet the better performance you get so you take it easy now have a great great rest of your weekend this is old George from Northern California
