I love her presentation…..she sounds so unlike any other budhist , she sounds like somebody you know, or you have met at a party. When I listen to other teachers they seem so anattainable , even slightly superior. Wolfgang needed this obviously 😂.
so... 1. general karma is how you are reborn (human birth)- (the result of non-killing) 2. the tendencies- actions similar to the cause- (result- born with no tendencies to kill) 3. producing the experiences similar to the cause- the way we are seen and treated by others in this life- experiences in the hands on others (result- you will live a long life and won't get killed) 4. environmental- the same way the physical world impacts on you- the world we occupy (result- peaceful environment, nice food etc.) Principles to affect karma: - not killing - not stealing- taking ungiven - not misusing your body - not saying untrue words, be abusive The action of non-killing: - Acknowledging existence of something- recognition - intention- not to kill the mouse - motivation- not to harm
Just don't take it personally. This is how Robina expresses herself, I get it, I'm the same. As she has said many times we are all in the same boat and she is there with us.
