Ever since they released Ded To Me, the band really got their footing in. Griffin's vocals is so much more refined. So much emotion! (It's crazy how much more he sounds like his Dad.) This entire track sounds absolutely ferocious! They keep pushing and improving with every new release. I'm excited to see the rise of this band!

There are many that are FAR better. You just don't know of them because they get no radio play or aren't related to some of the biggest musicians on the planet. Vended is cool as a throwback to late nineties/early 2000s nu-metal but it's nothing that hasn't been done a billion times. They're still a young band and I'm sure they will evolve. I'm not saying they're bad. They're not at all. Just nothing new or special YET.

As for naming modern bands....Entheos, Lorna Shore, Signs of the Swarm, A Wake In Providence, Oceans Ate Alaska, Merrow, Alluvial, Archspire...to name a few off top. Gives me the nostalgic feeling of when I was first discovering Slipknot in middle school and being blown away by the raw power and energy of the music. This track is full of that power and energy that I crave in music. And tho they are descendants of the Slipknot camp, they have completely achieved having a sound of their own that feels new and fresh for modern metal today. It’s only uphill from here for these guys.
