I got an email. He's got a family and down on his luck... He's ready to vend.. hot dogs and lemonade without a permit. Here's my solutions!!! We share this info daily inside VendorsUnited.com our private group.
So I'm in SC, and DHEC is a nightmare, Myrtle Beach is even worse and I was down on my luck too. I ended up going to construction sites, talking to foreman asking to park my cart out of the way but central to the construction and it saved me. Night shift work was also great. Who else is serving hot dogs at 3am and what health inspector is out at that time?? It worked out for me.
I am in a similar situation. I plan to go to events and sell donuts - the kind that you warm up in an oven then hand out (sell to) customers. I don't know if this requires a health license or any other license, but I just don't want to go to the trouble and expense of getting all these (or any) license. ESPECIALLY if it quickly becomes apparent my business is not going to work out. I want to just quickly walk away from the business if I feel it is not going to work. That is why I don't want to at first go through the trouble of getting all the licenses or permits I'm supposed to have (IF I am supposed to have them). However, I would get them if I feel my business is going to be just fine. Do you plan to get any licenses at some point?
Thank you thank you so much. I am in the same predicament as that person. I want to sell dogs but always waiting for my ship to come in. This is perfect here with cottage foods. Thank you again.
@@shawnwilliams6638 Just an FYI...Dropping a response comment (especially under an existing comment) is seldom seen or noticed by the author or persons monitoring the comments...it just seldomly works like that (unless done the same hour or day the video was posted) with most video creators, especially if they are busy/multitasking.
@@shawnwilliams6638 5 days ago I replied to where you can ask customer service. support@vendorsunited.com You said you entered the wrong email. All you need to do is tell them and they'll help you.
This actually reminds me a lot of a recent story here in Minnesota now that marijuana is legal but the state still hasn't given out any licenses. A guy selling his actually just won a lawsuit because he grew it it fell under the state agriculture laws stating you don't need a license
Murdock vs. Pennsylvania states if a state converts a right into a privilege then you can proceed with impunity. The Lord didn’t license your ability to work. You have a right to make a living the state , city or municipality has no right to restrict your liberties to take care of your family.
Same predicament here, trying to supplement income, post forced retirement and disabled! Wanting to sell hot dogs here in West Central Florida, but can't afford all the license and permits just yet. Gonna have to take that leap and chance!
Even if I wanted to get all the licenses we are supposed to have, I have no idea where specifically to go to or what specific department to go to... in order to get what we need to get. And what if we want to start out small and give our business a test run to see if it would work out for us? Are we supposed to go through all the trouble and expense of getting all the licenses and permits ... only to find out after the first week or two in business that it is just not for us? I want to at least give any street food vendor business (or selling at events) a try out to see if I feel it will be good for me or not. THEN if I feel it is going to work out, I will then get whatever licenses is needed. Does that also make sense to everyone else here?
I'm in the same sinking financial boat everyone else is and I'm sick and tired of being in limbo. I live in Missouri and I know about Cottage Food Law. I've worked in retail bakeries nearly 30 years, but I've never tried doing this. I have never run a business before and I lack confidence. Don't laugh, but I don't know anything about how to handle the business side of runnung a business. Would appreciate advice.
I just started watching your videos because God and the Algorithm brought me to you. I want to start with water and gatorade then work my way up to an ice cream cart in April 2024 or a hot dog cart sooner. I love in San Antonio, Texas, I know there is a foot vendor and build from there. I just turned 38, my parents are retired and the inflation is not helping, i tried breaking into the tech field for several years and still cannot get a job and my tech support is not paying enough anymore, I thought qbout going back to school and everyone one i know who got a degree during the pandemic are still in the same bs jobs are unrelated fields and I want to be able to afford to start a family before 40, its too expensive to event date. Any way, any tips? I will check out selling water before it gets cold and those cottage food laws. Thanks

Im a live-in caregiver. Need to buy a tiny home. I want to start with a small hot dog cart. My three grandchildren want to do a lemonade stand on the weekends to help me get that home. If we have the same name can I just get one business license or must I get two. If my name adds "and catering" would that help in the future? Thank you in advance for any advice anyone can provide
I am trying tto build my on food trailor. do you have any advice for me. I can't afford to buy 1. I am 75 & want to make some money because my SS is just not enought. please help.
Hello I have a question that isn't related to this videos topic. Are your carts..most likely The Big Dog Able to be towed by a regular car with no problems? I'm very interested but I don't have a truck and don't want to have to go out and get one, or rent one for that matter. Thank you in advance
What is a good place to get lemonade or hot dog equipment from? I know you have mentioned it before in your videos but I have been going through your videos but can’t find it.
You need to watch more videos or read more book pages. You haven’t done due diligence. Your question has a different answer depending on how much you have to spend , time, space, etc.
@@EricsWormPlayground That was no help at all. And besides I have been watching tons of his videos I just can’t seem to find the video where he mentioned the website. And besides it probably took you a lot longer to write this then it would have to just type In the website. I wasn’t asking you so I Don’t see why you even replied to my comment if you can’t help out.
@@nickg2316 you can pick any random video Ben has ever made and it has that webpage url listed in bright red font all over it. You aren’t watching his videos, there is no possible chance that is true.
