Thank you for all the info & inspiration. I found the perfect spot I did ask permission & I've been buying my inventory for half a yr. I'm excited Again thank you
Thanks Ben love your inspiration. I’m healing from shoulder surgery and I’m using the time off to get all the red tape done so that as soon as I can lift ant weight I’m going to be out killing it
I'm vending 6 days a week, but it's only 4 hours a day and I'm doing that because I'm greedy and it helped me expand from my hot dog cart, to my first food trailer and now I want more and gonna expand to a bigger food trailer soon! You just have to be patient and find a good location to setup at and the money will come to you!
@@BensCarts thank you for your help it's hard because I don't know what I'm doing and I started with a cheap cart. You definitely get what you pay for. If I understand it like I know ice cream id be good. Well thank you
@@mikesfound Absolutely nothing wrong with a cheap or a run down used cart.... it's a means to an end. And best of all... every part of it can be fixed or replaced. Let it buy your next one. I started with a crappy cart too... it didn't stop me.
I knew you'd like that one. Just turned in my paperwork on my used cart, hope to be vending in a month, God willing. Keep up the good work, Ben! God bless. P.s - if you like smarty pants debates you might like EFDawah here on RU-vid. Love ya! All the best.
Ben, you and Vendors United helped me get started. I bought a big dog cart from you in 2020. I've since sold that and gone to strictly lemonade. It's paying the bills and then some. When people ask my story I always mention you and VU. Thank you!
Hi Ben, I was reading quite a few things on your website that you shared. For example the lemonade start up I kept reading and clicking but never saw the details of how to make it etc. maybe that wasn’t the purpose of the content?
Get the food service gloves. The really oversize clear ones. I only wear one on my left hand. That is the only hand that touches the fruit. Change gloves anytime you need to use both hands.
Exactly. I wear a tight fitting glove on one hand and then have oversized food service gloves hanging so I can dip my hand in and pull a new one off over my latex glove. 😃
@@void________ these gloves work really good because you can use them for a couple or few smashes and clear the strainer with your finger. I like to use my index finger to get all the seeds and pulp in one place then curl it up to scoop out all out and peel it into the glove straight into the trashcan. If you're doing hundreds of drinks you need to check the funnel on the smasher too. Pulp will stick and can clog the drain.
Hey Ben. I'm here in Oklahoma city and I'm in need of a hotdog cart real bad, hopefully it will change my life and my wife and kids life as well. And so I am wondering if you had any used carts possibly a cheaper one that could use a little TLC. things are crazy tight right now.. thank you.
Ben! I just love your energy! I have been approved to order my cart. I'm actually ready to rock as soon as I receive my hot dog cart. Unfortunately I had to order from a different supplier although I had my heart set on the cater pro because I was told I needed the 3 wash sinks and hand sink on my cart and a guy here in michigan makes them with that standard. But when I start thinking, will I ever get there? Do I really want to even do this? Up pops a video from you. And I'm once again, all in!
Awesome man I can't wait to get started your info has helped me make my decision to do this it has been on my mind for two years I'm ready to go thank you so much you have really helped me
Nathan's is the best I've tried. It seems to reason I would serve my favorite to my customers because when it's lunchtime, what do you think I'm gonna eat. You guessed it, a Nathan's Famous. It's not rocket science.
