Juan Sanchez is a real estate con man who served nearly a decade in prison for committing $30 million in bank fraud. During his scheme he lost millions of dollars which he was supposed to be laundering for the Sinaloa cartel. As a result he was kidnapped by the Venezuelan government and barely escaped with his life.

For reference I just had someone the other day try to steal my identity and commit credit card fraude.. Luckily I wasnt naive enough to get fucked over and they couldnt access any of my money (they just got declined on a bunch of stupid credit card expenses like $300 bottles of champagne). In my opinion these guys destroyed the lives of a lot of vulnerable people and to see how casually they blow it off makes me pissed. I watch this so I can study the characteristics of con men... You never know when you may need to set a rat trap and shake a coward down.

When he was talking about seeing somebody stabbed and than just doing what you gotta do before they lock you down. It’s also prison makes it where if it isn’t your business you don’t worry about it type stuff because you can get stabbed for trying to help him or watching them or anything

Great storyteller and episode. So I was considering, I wonder what would happen if his lawyer would’ve argued that instead of the charges he got, that it would be money laundering instead. If he were to say that’s what he was doing. Just an idea, I haven’t checked so I have no idea if that would have been a longer sentence or just added to the sentence. Just coulda been a potential loophole to get less than the original 15 year sentence.

A lawyer took like 200k from my uncle because his son caught a murder charge. He punched someone one time and got convicted of second degree murders. They offered him 8 years and the lawyer said don’t take it because he can’t get him off with no time. Well my cousin got 13 years and the lawyer took his money and moved to Florida. Now I see why lawyers are always moving and why they end up dead sometimes. It really is a license to steal, something has to be changed with the way lawyers get paid and how much they get paid.

Sooo is it illegal to make a deal with a seller to get then 200k over asking and you get to keep 150 of it, they get 50k over asking and find a buyer who's willing to take a bank loan for the whole price and give them half the 150k for buying the property everyone wins.....everyone gets cash just the buyer has a bugger mortgage but hell by the time he's in the red hell sell the house for more....lol prolly illegal lmao
