Vengeance Producer Suite - Avenger Tutorial Video #5: DRUM section this video shows the DRUM section of VPS Avenger available soon at www.vengeance-sound.com
Vengeance Producer Suite - Avenger not only the best Synth on the market but also the best Drum Machine, well done to all the people working on this project, all the best Robert UK London.
I saw this question asked a couple times in the comments but never saw an answer. Is there some way to export the drum patterns as a midi file or automate a pattern change in the middle of the song? This is my favorite synth I have ever used and I love it's drum sequencer but I would love to be able to change patterns in a single instance of the plugin.
OH MY F*£&%%ING GOD THIS IS INCEDIBLE!! WWOOOOOOOOOW. Serum is dead to me! :) I haven't been this inspired to make electronic music for years and years, what a fantastic tool. hands down the best synth ive ever tried (hardware or soft)
Go to Drm SQ and then right click between Vel. and Pan (well hidden). Then export Midi where ever you wanted and put it in your DAW. Then go to Root under the Drumsicon and deactivate the Drum SQ Button. Otherwise you will hear the drums twice
hi again i got it works just to get to the lower octave on the midi controller i tried the high keys on the midi controller thats why i didnt heared any sound from the drums. thank you
Is it possible to keep say 1 kick drum you like from the library then change the rest of the samples with other factory sounds? Also if you want to keep a shuffle pattern but then want to see what other patterns work over this, would you just export the audio or midi and layer?
Hi i have little problem , when i m trying to start fro scratch i fill the BD than pressing the key on the midi controller . the prob is that the bd doesnt play . i tried to choose paterns from the drums seq , analog , house , still not working. but it is working when i m chosing th first preset from the factory content. i m shamless that i cant get it works. thx
Looking at the layout, I think they want to keep everything available on one screen. there is a separate Marcel James Mini Tutorial Video for exporting arp and drum midi to the daw, I think its on their website under avenger->videos
Können Arp/StepSeq und Drumseq auch Midinoten ausgeben, sodaß ich die direkt in die in der DAW nutzen kann? Dies ist einer der tollen Features in HALion.
Is it possible to update this plug in to have a more intuitive controller assignment?- when I try to automate a knob I cannot right click and assign "Learn mode" I have to go through a huge list of controllers until I find the perimeter-- takes hours...
then you did not read the manual or watched the video about MIDI controller assignments. Ist even simpler than rightclick/learnmode: tweak your controller and it appears in the bottom right corner of Avenger, then you can drag and drop anywhere to assign it.
Is it possible to drag and drop the drum sequence as midi in the daw or export them ? That would make it easier to when it comes to arranging the drums in a song format instead of loop format
Agreed. Is there an ACTUAL functional and practical approach to using these drums? It makes it difficult to have the sound of the drum associated with the sound of the synth. I understand you can change the zoning but the options make it limited in that regard. It would be nice to be able to route the drums straight to your DAW independently of your synths.
none... its new fresh drum content. Over 160 Drumkits with each 12 perfectly matching sounds (~2000Drumsounds alone) and many many many multisamples (over 600)
Vengeance-Sound This is probably better, avoiding reverb (for example) in the samples that won't be time synced to the project. Plus you'll of done the hard work of matching the right key, which is the worst when working with sample libraries instead of kits.
@@VengeanceSound Where can you assign different drum sounds to different audio outputs? How do i set this up in cubase? I want to seperate the kick so that i could use it as a source for sidechain. Do i need to open Avenger in a different way?
everything really nice and good. but to work I do not understand the whole thing. why do you have a drum sequencer when it is not usable at all? and then I should set each note anyway within the DAW or work with exported midi files. ? the possibility to control the sequences on the basis of midi offers in the form of pattern is missing! Example: pattern 1 = Kick = c1 pattern2 = kick & snare = c # 2, etc, so the whole thing would only make sense. otherwise super synth👍👍
the drumsq is for live playing, making perfect sense there. If you want to use the drum sequences in your DAW, just export it with 2 clicks as MIDI into your Piano Roll of your DAW. There you have full control of altering the beat. You can also route all drum tracks to different mixing outputs in your DAW
Vengeance-Sound thank you for the answer. I already understood that. that's exactly what it is - on this path you have no options anymore. That's exactly what makes a sequencer. That's why you have him :) so that he plays - not me. (within the DAW) I program it only fast and comfortably. you also give this option very well. just not finished.
@@VengeanceSound so if you have a nice shuffle pattern and a drum sound you like you have to export to then try out other sequences to layer a beat?? Could 2 versions of vsp be loaded just for trying out multiple patterns, then export to daw??
I think Vengeance is going to have to have a long think about how to make the drums fully useful. Playing the same beat for a 5' song isn't going to cut it. IMO they should provide a quick way to export to midi and wavs, to be used in your DAW. Using Renoise one can ofcourse render each sound to sample, but it's still cumbersome having to do that for all 12 sounds in a drum pattern. I don't think Live can do this.
you can just turn OFF Avengers drum sequencer. Now you have a drumkit, ready to play on your keyboard. Each key is a different drum. You can now make your Drumloop in your DAWs piano rolls. Additionally you can export Avengers' Drum sequencer as MIDI file and load in your DAW
@@VengeanceSound I see, yeah that sounds interesting and useful. I myself would still prefer Live's Simpler though as I'd like to be able to play eg a kick drum at different pitches. But even that would still make your drumkits useful with some tweaking. And export to Midi is ACE. :)
