Venice has been on our bucket list for a number of years, but can we afford to stay there for 48 hours on our tight early retirement budget?
We are fortunate to be passing close by on our 6 week campervan road trip around Europe, so it would seem the ideal time to make a visit to beautiful and historic Venice. In this video we will look at where we stayed, how we got into the city and what we did when we were there, with all the time managing to keep our overall spending below €100.
We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We retired from teaching at the age of 51 in the summer of 2022. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travelling the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.
