Is KLM always professional, with business ethics, their lounges/gates at the airports clean, classy as well as their livery? I have never flown them. I have flown Air France First Class and Business Class and it was top notch. Thanks again.

Beautiful. I'm actually going to the Veneto for the first time in about 6 weeks. I'll be staying with friends in Vicenza and taking the train into Venice for day trips, but I hope to stop into the Gritti for a refreshment of some kind.

Wow! This is my favorite of your videos so far! They just keep getting better! Again, thank you for filming from the very beginning of your arrival. It's been a long time since I've been to Venice with my parents back in the 80s, and it's like I've just been there again! Beautiful hotel, as always the best. So many beautiful and romantic scenes from everywhere. The glass factory was great! Did you buy a piece? I remember my parents bought a large piece of fine glass from Venice which they had shipped home to the US. I'm not sure if it was the same place, but I remember the salesman speaking to our whole tour group saying they accepted all forms of payment, even a personal check, to which everyone in our group was quite surprised. When someone from our group asked him how can they even accept personal checks from complete foreigners, he said "we're Italian, we know how to find you if we need to!" Everyone laughed... :)

Yes, I did buy something pretty at the factory but work won't start until September so it's still in Murano as we speak. I just love Venice to death, nowhere else on earth is that unique a city. Alexis, I've just finished watching this episode in your channel and you've rekindled my trip to Venice. I was there the same year you were. . . from July 28 to August 1. In fact, as soon as I saw the church (13:31) I realized it right next to Hotel Ala (where I stayed). Thank you for making this video. When this pandemic is over, I plan to go back. Stay well, Darryl

Thank you. We will be staying at The Gritti for 3 days next May. A quick question: your ‘free’ boat to Murano - was that a private or a group tour? Did the Concierge arrange it for you? This will be our third Venetian stay but first at the Gritti.

Wow! That room is beautiful! We stayed in an airbnb when we went to Venice this summer- it was such a different experience. You can check out our channel to see all about our trip too! I love how you put your video together. It was so helpful that you put in titles to make everything clear to the viewer.
An outstanding beautiful luxurious hotel none other than the Gritti Palace. However, having said that for the amount you paid for that room I would expect the boat driver to be in uniform or at least a white long sleeve shirt and dress pants and dress shoes instead he picked you up in a t shirt and probably jeans and sneakers how vulgar and classless to represent the world famous brand of the Palazzo Gritti. In addition to that the cheesy area rugs on the bedroom floor should have been replaced by the beautiful d'aubusson French area rugs to compliment the rest of the classy furniture pieces. I love marble and so many colors and so well done like no other. Italian masonry is the best they now how to work at the quarry and then use the marble. You had a beautiful bar fully stocked with spirits, beers, acqua panna which from time to time I buy here in New Jersey. You also had top of the line toiletries the infamous Acqua di Parma simply the best. The meals all looked top notch as well as the desserts. Did you have an after dinner liquor at the hotel bar they call it a digestivo? Did you visit the hotel's gift shop, gym? How nice that they gave you a complimentary and top notch ride to Murano Glass Factory in a beautiful boat with music from Andrea Bocelli and it was only you so it was VIP. You must have said to yourself wow Madame Marie Antoinette eat your heart out Mademoiselle Alexis is here to enjoy this exclusivity. How nice those little alleys in Venice where you find interesting shops and craftsmen. Note: did you buy anything for yourself at Murano and/or at the little art shop? On your next trip back to Venice show us more like perhaps a visit to their casino and we see you all dressed up to have cocktails and play. It would be nice. All the best.
