Happy melancholia… That’s why i love liquid drum and bass. nothing hits as hard my soul and heart. Makes you wonder about existence, our hatred our anger, our pain.. But we are more innocent then we are led to believe. No man can resist innocence. This cat represents innocence to me. It draw us back to who we really are, without any illusions or distortions. The key then would be to operate at this level at all times, although it is difficult in this crazy world. But just a couple seconds of innocence will always bring me back to the ultimate truth. It cannot be denied. This is true love to me. Not the fake love we are sold, but true inconditional love. We are all pure deep down, we simply forgot we were ❤

When I first heard this song, Edgar, my almost-16-year-old cat, was sleeping very cozily in the sun behind me. My entire adult life, he used chirps like this to ask me questions and teach me things. Hearing this little one chirp brought a lot of love and happy memories to the surface. I woke him up to give him a big hug and told him how much I loved him. He had been quite ill for a few weeks, but he loved the attention and gave me some good purrs in return. A week later, his illness got to be too much for his body. I'm so lucky the vet was able to make him comfortable before we had to say goodbye - I got to love on him a bit, let him love on me, and hold him close one last time as they put him to sleep and he passed on, cozy in a warm blanket in my arms. It's been a month today since he passed but the love is still strong. And I know that as long as I keep that love close, Edgar's spirit will stay close too. Love is always the answer.
