My mom makes the best curd rice in our family. My grandparents always say if there is any family get together that others can make all the special dishes but curd rice has to be made by my mother only. My mom says if you ever have to test if someone is a good cook or not, the only way to do that is to ask them to make curd rice. If they do it without screwing it up, it means they are a good chef. Curd rice tests patience of the chef and attention to detail. Such a humble dish but very difficult to get it right. Thanks for sharing this video.
