This is pure bliss.. The way he requests rasiya "na jaye, nehi jaye" is divine..It soothes the mind.. koti koti pranam.. I am blessed to b born in this country and hear such great artists..

One of the greatest of this time.. After Kishori Tai's passing away, he is the undisputable number 1.. at least for me. Unfortunately, just like Pt. Mallikarjun Mansur, he gained prominance late. I just shiver to imagine what would have been his music, maybe 25-30 years earlier, if the recordings were available. For me the greatness of an artist is his Signature Mastery alongside his control of his own Gharana. Nuances of Ustad Abdul Karim Khan's musical genius is entombed in him, keeping his own creative genius intact and perfectly distinguishable. A Legend on his own right!!

Pt. Venkatesh Kumar is an artist at the top of his game. Once again, a superb presentation by FEA - the sound, camera-work, the excellent editing, and most of all, curating the program, not only with having the finest vocalist on stage, but providing him with excellent accompanists in Pt Yavagal and Vyasmurti Katti (who, in my opinion is one of the finest accompanists in India today).

I guess at present time Pt. Ji the best in country. Emotions, purity, bol, presentation, all are speechless.

The connection of his renditions to aesthetics and divinity is astounding. It's much more than just singing taans and showing acrobatics of the voice.
