I might sound stupid but tlmaths and zeeshan - alevel maths ytubers - couldn’t explain this better than maths genie and this is a gcse video whereas I’ve got a levels 😅
The last 3 I don't understand tbh. A' U B' means not a and not b = 7/40. Because A U B = 33/40. A U B' means everything in A not B = 20/40 because A U B is 33/40 so if we minus B we minus 13 from 33. We don't include the 7. Can anyone shed light on this please. Thanks.
It is the union. The union of not a and not b includes everything that is not a and everything that is not b. The union of a and not b includes everything that is a and everything that is not b.
oh wow lol I met him when I went to Dubai in February and I was so gassed coz it was like on my bucket list of that trip to meet him because I have been a fan of his for a long time
this is on the website for new spec ocr a but i had a strong feeling that we no longer needed to know the naming (what union means etc) for as level. is this true? cheers
