I absolutely love that these movies are channeling the 90s aspect of Venom. He is a 90s character, after all.

I love venom

The only thing that really bothered me in this movie is how goofy it is compared to Venom 1. It is more comic accurate in some ways, but at the same time that’s it’s problem. It doesn’t flow like a movie should. Venom is also literal golden retriever, which I guess works for comics, but I do miss the curious yet brooding Venom from the first one. This is still a 8/10 movie in my book

Venom is so funny and lovable. The movies did him right. He's no villain but a Anti-hero who just wants to protect the innocent while getting nutrients from food. I hope somewhere in the 3rd movie, Venom gets a hug from a kid for saving him from bullies or a potential kidnapper.

The best part about Venom is that throughout thousands of years of hivemind knowledge that would make Eddie's head burst... He knows the value of laughter, the thrill of overcoming one's fears, and that enjoying the little things is still important. I was there for his first issue and have loved Venom all the way (the good, the bad, the Lethal Protector).

I think Venom is definitely 2nd funniest anti-hero that I ever known in both SSU Venom movies, but mostly, I like more Deadpool as well for Fox Deadpool Movies (2016-present).
