Venom Review - Off The Shelf Reviews 

I always thought in Jurassic Park when the goat is out for bait so they can see the T-Rex on the tour and it doesn't come out, given it's a Spielberg movie, that Goldblum should have said "we're gonna need a bigger goat." A missed opportunity!

I saw the chance to say the awesome line and I was prepared to take it, because...chance favors the prepared mind. (how quotable is Under Siege 2)

Tubi does has have some great garbage on it. Also some legit gems/hidden gems

I can only imagine a couple of people voted on the hilarity of their experience as opposed to the actual craftsmanship of the thing they were watching. It appears to either be a funny experience for the viewer or be like that videotape from The Ring that kills you seven days after you watch it unless you convince someone else to see it. Side note; I like your Dark Saber. You still make?

Nope, it was not made in the mid 90s....it was made a couple of years ago....in 2020.

I cannot blame it all on Covid-19. The stuff in the flat was already shot. Then the plague hit. The pet shop, newspaper office, and the van rental company shut down for the lock-downs. I couldn't shoot with the actor playing Draygan or the actor playing Wilmur so I masked up for drug lord Draygan and Neil Banks Mackenzie doubled up for informant Wilmur. The toy van was put in front of an LCD monitor to provide the backdrops, the pet shop and journalist office were both redressed parts of the flat, the back of the van was a photograph of a van interior blown up to a poster the size of a fridge and stuck on a wall that we shot in front of. Iain, I'm glad it brought you some joy. Gary, I'm sorry!

There is another movie (not a sequel to Venom) incoming since lock-downs ended six months ago here, so brace yourself lads! Also can confirm Gary is right the day KFC was ordered in was the best day on set.

I wish he had agreed to the cameo. I could've been part of the SMCU. I could've saved Morbius! Actually even with the CGI guys put in after I still probably would've got them out of frame.

Bingo! C64 running on a Raspberry PI emulator. The boot up of that also stepped in for the boot up of the 'vans' deus ex machina computer system. As did my fuse box.

@@robinwestlake4761 Yeah, C64 was my number one guess. With just a slight possibility, that it could have been Amstrad. Speccy I owned, back at the day, not the other two (well, I do now, multiple in fact). Though played much C64, it was the king in Finland.... The coloring that way would have been impossible on Spectrum... But anyway, we're getting on a sidetrack here 😂

I put a C64 tape into a car stereo (back before CD's were a thing) by mistake once. Nearly went off the road when it 'played' its 'music'.
