I never thought I would see a Venom trilogy without Spider-Man 😭

The fact that Venom already got a trilogy but any superheroes in the DCEU movies especially the Justice League didn't is absolutely hilarious 😂😂

I thought that this trailer was giving me “Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance” vibes; and the Venom-horse sealed the deal.

As a Venom fan (from the comics), I think this is just a testament to how much looking cool benefits you. Venom just has a killer design.

In all the venom movies Tom Hardy has progressively looked like he actually injected something or dipped into some chemicals, at least he is methodical with the role

I’m sure Eddie and Venom will be dancing for the foreseeable future. Every time there’s a “Last” something in the title, it’s usually not the case for some movies. Sony sees dollar signs, you damn right they’ll be shaking it again.

If venom the last dance does retcon the post credit scene from let there be carnage, then that truly is a kangaroo jack moment.

The way this trailer was edited, it felt like even Venom wants out of Sony's Spider-Man Adjacent Universe franchise. Can't say that I blame him.

I don't think the first movie was really supposed to be a comedy. I think that was a happy accident that just sorta happened during production. Maybe early test audiences didn't respond well to the serious tone of the movie, and so they retroactively used some of Tom Hardy's improv takes, and had him do some extra ADR dialogue to liven up the tone without any additional VFX work. Because that first movie was never marketed as a comedy at all. They wanted to sell that movie as a dark, edgy, thriller. But then when you fast forward to Venom 2, that first trailer immediately opens with comedy. And it's not just some Tom Hardy improv or ADR dialogue either. The entire scene is a whole setpiece done specifically for comedy (it's the scene of Venom cooking Eddie breakfast, and making a mess of the entire appartment). They very clearly pivoted the tone of the series after the first movie saw most of it's success with it's few moments of wacky comedy. Of course, I'm just talking out my ass. Who knows what Sony are smoking in those offices. They went on to make Morbius AND Madame Web following Venom 2. For all we know, Sony execs are just throwing darts at an idea-board to choose their movies.

I enjoyed the first one it was dumb fun, the second one disappointed me, this one seems interesting I'm mostly excited to see the life foundation symbiotes finally

There is that rumor floating around that there is a young Peter Parker in this movie and Venom will eventually try to protect him against the other symbiotes. In trailer there is shot from behind kids head in van and another shot where kid&mother are on oil platform looking scared.

As a kid, I always pictured a giant, Dolph Lundgren or Arnold Schwarzenegger type as Venom. He was supposed to be scary even BEFORE he got the symbiote cause he was so bitter over losing his job and spent all his time in the gym. But these Venom movies are like sitting through a bad ventriloquist show...

If this is the last movie, might as well go full on gay love story and end with a bang.

There's word going on that Seth Rogan is making a R rated animated Venom project. So only thing that's ending is Ton Hardy's Venom. This tells me after Marvel disgarded their version of Veom, this probably told them that "Yeah MCU only wants Spider-Man and nothing else, let's just stop playing it safe."

It would be cool for the last one to be Rated R but they didn't even make the second one with Carnage Rated R and even if they did make the third one Rated R it would be a good thing and bad thing at the same time

I see more people talking about how they screwed with the No Way Home post credit scene than anything else in the trailer. I honestly thought that was a tease for Spiderman 4, not this movie.

all these Superhero buddy comedies employ the Riggs and Murtaugh formula with Lethal Weapon 3 and 4. LW 1 and 2, it was balanced and not overly comedic. LW3 completely went into full comedy which we are seeing today with all these movies

Not hate to Venom movie fans, but for me the Venom movies are the Steven Seagal of superhero movies.

Its dumb But i think the reason you are seeing these actors from other Marvel movies playing different characters in this movie is because these people are alternate universe versions of the Marvel people. Its essentially how they are trying to stay connected to Disney Marvel stuff. Hense that whole, Eddie Brock is in the post credit stuff in the other Marvel movie.

No offense to anybody who liked the Venom movies, but I was so underwhelmed by them that I'm watching the DT reaction to the trailer before actually watching the trailer.

That "we are Vemon" bit actually made me laugh . I haven't even seen etheir movie, but that stupid bit made me laugh. I know it's bad, but that's what made it funny because it's so stupid. I'm finally going to watch these movies on streaming. But I'm not paying to see this shit.
