Venom vs Kraven Boss Battle Theme V2 - In-Game Unofficial Soundtrack - Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 

I love how there’s more dialogue when it takes longer to beat Kraven. Kraven ends up sounding like he’s in such pain but also so joyous. “I have never felt such pain before.” “I see what you really are! Death, cloaked in beast flesh!” It’s really intense and raw lines from Kraven.

It’s honestly really great to see Kraven won in this game. He died on his own terms, in his prime, killed by an opponent that could legitimately best him. I just love that neither of the Spider-Men could stop him from completing his goal.

When i heard those words... Kraven was trult the best villian insomniac cooked.

Kraven is my favourite villain in this game. Just doesn’t subvert Doc Ock in my eyes. But only just. I do like that Kraven had no connection with Peter or Miles. Not even with any of the Spider-Men before the game starts. As long as a villain challenges the ideals of the Spider-Man mantle, he can be a great adversary.

Kraven’s lines are so raw in this fight.

He got the full 19 inches of Venom

I don’t want to sound overly optimistic but giving Venom head cures cancer.

⁠@@The94VenomIt’s very subjective, it seems. I’m really split on this venom. I don’t mind that it’s Harry. It would’ve been more jarring if they tried introducing Eddie. But I’m not much a fan him trying to lead the alien invasion. I get that you want to up the stakes for a game and give varying enemies to fight, but I do prefer a Venom solely focused on Spider-Man (initially). I also think the symbiote could have had some more nuance. With Harry being anti venom and Venom only appearing after Peter’s stint with the suit and Harry’s built up anger, it seemed like Peter did kind of corrupt the symbiote. But in the end, it was just pure evil. And it was manipulating Harry. It would’ve been more interesting if Harry consciously went along with the symbiote’s take on healing the world. Perhaps that’s where they could have named themselves Venom. Harry, in the first game, referred to Devil’s Breath as ‘a little bit of bad that could do some good’, or something like it. And he could have the same sort of mindset. A little bit of a forceful makeover people didn’t ask for as a means to do good. And Harry wanting Peter to join him seemed to go kind of on and off. Sometimes he wanted Peter to join him. Sometimes that’s not at all the vibe they gave off. Design and voice are simply perfect (though I’m not a huge fan that they used the wings from the comics). Perhaps does work for a game like this to increase stakes. I do like how Venom was serious and felt like such an insurmountable threat (would have felt even scarier if the final act lasted longer). Perhaps he could kind of crack a sinister joke or two more, but I also do kind of enjoy him being eerily serious. Perhaps does suit Harry’s relationship with the symbiote more, compared to him Eddie tends to bond with it. Harry is on his mission of a lifetime. His life goal. No time to dillydally around. He needs to get to business to do what he deems to be right.
