Which I was disappointed because I prefer Miao Jiang CN VA for Venti! Not saying Erika is bad but I was stoked when I was told Venti sings and it only in the English dub

It’s said it was the VA Erika’s idea to sing it instead as the other dubs just say it like a poem. I’m so glad.

I imagine it’s hard to sing while keeping your voice in character so maybe that’s why it doesn’t happen very often.

Haha I can't promise but I might try, though some of the vocals are a bit off, might have to first isolate the vocals and then tune the notes that are kinda off, I'm just too picky xD

@@friolle Yeah I know that, I have Itto and I love his rap but I meant that as Cutscene and as characters who are well known to be singers/good at singing and you would expect to hear them sing sooner, Itto isn't a singer like Yunjin, Venti and Barbara. You would expect to hear them sing at least once but by original script (Chinese) only Yunjin sang and Venti wasn't supposed to sing because the Chinese version was talked but probably the English VA suggested to do that as a song because it's more fitting. So yes Itto did sing but I meant that as characters who are supposed to sing because are known as popular singers, Itto and Venti don't even actually sing in the Chinese Canon, the only one who Canonically sing in every version is Yunjin because HoYoVerse made her sing but they didn't make Venti sing in the original Chinese version and probably the VA suggested the singing and while they didn't denied it it's not something HoYoVerse decided to do in every language like Yunjin and they never made Barbara or Venti actually sing which you would expect to see them before Itto from the Chinese language and then every other version follow their orders since HoYoVerse made them be a bard and a idol.

@@varianmoonstone2492 this is late, but yes! english was most likely done spontaniously as Erika (ventis VA for english) complained abt not singing much despite being a bard. also, its only said in every language besides for english.

Apparently she's the only one that sing this, the rest just read it like a poem normally, that's why there's nothing accompanying it

Sadly, only English dub sings it and it was actually Erika's idea 😭 Other language still read it normally like a poem. If only CN dub sings it too, then this scene would have music

im a venti main, (wanted him since 2021, lost 50/50 in 2.5, got him early pity (10) in 3.1) and he is just my pride and joy. Erika does such a fantastic job playing him.

@@raf3062 that she has, I find it soothing that someone voice acting a bard has a good singing voice. Shows the director of the voice actors or whatever definitely put some thought into this 😅
