This Major Car Culture event over Labor Day weekend marks the end of the summer car show circuit season. Friday night kicks off the 3 days of Rods & Customs extravaganza with 3 open house celebrations and a "Beach Cruise" up PCH (pacific coast highway 1) for a spectacular sunset. Noble, Sloatman Vintage Automotive, and JG Design & Fab all threw outrageous open houses. JG was the location where the cruise formed up and left for the 5:00 sunset cruise. Two out of the three, I was able to attend and made it to the cruise which was astonishing! Think about it. A cruise from the industrial district of town onto the HWY 101 North, off on the PCH for the cruise at 5:00 PM on a holiday weekend. Pure MAYHEM!! Had to be the Chrome and Glitter that got everyone through. I was able to video the JG shop action and the begining of the cruise. Went down to catch the cars at the beach and headed back to town for the Sloatman celebration of three years in business. Open house events are To Cool to miss. I'll be back for more next year!
