Noticed that there's a lot of actors who were on both this and fellow Adult Swim series Harvey Birdman, Attourney At Law. Those being Gary Cole, Stephen Colbert, Paget Brewster, Mark Hamill and Toby Huss.
The level of lore dump that comes from the J.K. Simmons character still continues to amaze me. When you decode all that medical jargon he's saying about Dean it makes some really stunning implications
@aaronsarchive82 Alright, so in the episode "A Very Venture Halloween" there is a scene where Dean is on an operating table, being examined by that character, Ben, who is a scientist familiar with cloning. As Dean is coming to, he mentions some very interesting things that go wrong with clones while determining how successful Dean's cloning was. -"idiopathic hirsutism in the orbital region" This refers to excessive growth of hair in an unusual place, specifically the head near the eyes- the Monarch's eyebrows. -"clear early stage androgenic alopecia" Balding, like Rusty. -"Fetiform Teratoma" Growth of a malformed fetus attached to the body, basically- Jonas Venture Jr. growing out of Rusty. Basically, it was revealed all the way back in season 5 that Rusty and The Monarch are clones. In that same episode, there's a quote from Dr. Orpheus: "Halloween is the night we discover who we really are."

Fetiform - in the shape of or similar to a fetus Teratoma - a germ cell tumor that may contain imamture or fully formed tissue, including teeth, hair, bone and muscle. The fact that Ben took the time to mention it indicates that fetiform teratoma must have been a problem in previous clones.
Brown widow took that pack of smokes out of his…web orifice?…spinneret hole? Never noticed that before. Also brown widow is sad in so many ways and also gross. But he’s still one of the more solid super heroes.
Why go through the trouble of making the list if you’re not going to show the actor as well as the character they play? Nathan Fillion, Clancy Brown, JK Simmons, Judy Greer, Jessica Walter(R.I.P), H. Jon Benjamin, Kevin Conroy, Steve Blum, Niel Kaplan, Steve Kramer, Phil LaMarr all have unmistakable voices in the biz. 90% of the guest actors I have no idea 🤷♂️
Why are so many people so very into announcing the amount of people they DON'T know? Man I wish someone would invent a vast network of searchable files and databases where one could easily look up information like this. That would be sweet, huh?
This vast network should be interconnected globally. As if a web of knowledge could be gather in some form of net. Shame we don't live in a world where this is possible
@@homefactory6226 Sorry, but to me it really does. The writing is so very similar, in the off the wall way the characters interact and dissect superhero culture, to the deadpan delivery of dialogue and dry humour. I only caught short clips on RU-vid and I got the similarities right away. The fact that it’s “mainstream” and not sold as satire or paradox doesn’t take away from the way the styles match up.

@@brianbread7698 Sure, there are a few famous names here. Hamill and Colbert have been in everything. It would have been almost surprising if these voice actors didn't appear in an animated show from that era that ran this long, especially on Cartoon Network. Oswalt is always easy to identify. David Bowie was never a guest voice actor on Venture Bros. - the Sovereign in Bowie form was voiced by James Urbaniak, not Bowie. Patrick Warburton was not a guest voice actor but a regular, although he does have some celebrity - not sure if @Sir Shotty was being sarcastic (which was how I read it) or not, this being the internet. I watched this video as a hardcore fan wanting to be surprised by stuff I didn't know. From the title, I thought the point of the article was to showcase how many celebrities had guest spots, but while there were a lot of names, very few would be called celebrities. I felt the title was bait-and-switch. It would have been better as a shorter video on actual celebrities, or making connections digging into the minor celebrities and showing where else they would be known from. I didn't like the video. You apparently did like it. Don't attack me for my opinion, ask me why. I may or may not give you reasons, but asking is more constructive than portraying yourself as some kind of mind-reader that knows how a perfect stranger on the internet thinks. Who knows, you and I might have a discussion and both learn something. Take it easy.
